Shelby and her team member, Phil have been wonderful to my pets. My dad was in the hospital and I needed someone fast to help with my dog, Trex during the day. Trex was a little leary but they won him over. I call Phil the dog whisperer. They arrive on time and even send terrific pictures of Trex walking along with a behavior report. They even share the love to my kitten Cooper so he does not feel left out.
Shelby and her crew are great with my pup!! Always reliable and responsible!
I am very very cautious about who I let watch my dog and let into my home. I do however trust Shelby and the team at Who Let The Dogz Out. Shelby is one of the most caring dog owners I know and when it comes to taking my Casey or Ellie out for walks I only trust her and her team. Shelby is so passionate about my dogs and their individual needs, she truly cares and it shows. If you are thinking about using a dog walker in the Baltimore area, you should do yourself and your pet a favor and at least meet with Shelby. She sends text updates and photos of your dog to you and even will point out things you should know. This is the kind of above and beyond service I appreciate.
If you are looking for someone to take care of your cats then I know the right pet sitter for you! Shelby really shows great concern and care for my 8 cats and was very descriptive in her texts to me while I was away on vacation. She keeps me updated about everything. Shelby takes care of them as if they are her own pets. She is the best and most reliable pet sitter I've had. My cats seem very relaxed with her. I know my cats are in good hands with Shelby.
These guys are great! They both came out to meet my dogs so we would be comfortable with either one of them stopping by. We have crazy schedules and so I sometimes need a walk on shorter notice, and they always try to accomodate me if possible. I love the little notes I get about my dogs every day. They really care about my dogs (and even my cat!), I couldn't do it without them.
When I sent my dog Kyla to stay with Shelby I was initially very nervous. I wasn't nervous because of Shelby, I was nervous because I had never left my precious girl to stay with anyone while I went out of town. I had put Kyla in plenty of boarding facilities, and even a few doggie day care places in the area. Both options were good, but I just felt like I didn't want Kyla to be put in a cage for several hours a day (as most boarding places, and doggie day care places do). Since I never crate trained Kyla it seemed sad to me for her to spend most of her boarding days locked up. I was referred to Shelby by a friend who had used her in the past for dog walking and dog sitting. She loved Shelby! So I called Shelby myself and had a lengthy conversation with her, asking her all the 1 million questions I could possibly have. Shelby answered all of them very kindly and compassionately. She assured me that Kyla would be well taken care of, and that she would have lots of fun with Shelby's dog Lyric. Well boy was Shelby right! Throughout Kyla's 4 day stay with Shelby, I was sent multiple pictures and videos showing Kyla having fun and playing around with Shelby and Lyric. I really appreciated the extra attention Shelby gave me to help me feel confident and secure that Kyla was ok, and well taken care of. When it came time to pick up Kyla, I was so happy to see her and excited to take her home. Well what do you know, when I went to walk Kyla out of Shelby's house, Kyla didn't want to budge! She resisted on the leash and kept trying to pull me back inside! What a great feeling to know that she loved it with Shelby so much! I haven't had a need again yet to use a dog sitter but when I do Shelby will be my only phone call!! I highly recommend Shelby (and Lyric) for all your dog sitting needs!
Shelby is an excellent choice for a dog sitter. She did an outstanding job staying in my apartment with my beagle recently for 4 days . My dog loved her. It was great to get pictures and updates every day while I was away. It was a nice feeling knowing while I traveled that my dog could be at home, loved, played with and well cared for. I will absolutely use Shelby again.
