  EMT has been a game changer for our son. He has some learning challenges especially with reading and Deena and her team has been fabulous with him.   We are so grateful for Deena from Extra Mile. When our daughter started with Deena, she had no confidence, would not want to read and was extremely behind. Deena helped our daughter reach her grade level and gain confidence in herself again. It was so helpful to continue our sessions throughout the summer because our daughter was not overwhelmed with the transition into first grade and better prepared. She looks forward to the sessions because Deena makes learning fun. Really, if your child needs extra support, go with Extra MIle you will not be sorry.

  What an appropriate name for a person who always goes the Extra Mile, whether in a classroom setting or in a one-on-one tutoring session. We were certainly blessed to have Mallory as my daughter's 1st grade teacher. My daughter flourished and thrived in her classroom and came out of first grade, ready for third! Mallory is patient, kind, and her guidance as a teacher was superb. I highly recommend her services as a tutor.

  We LOVE Extra Mile Tutoring! Ms. Deena helped our oldest son tremendously with his reading and writing skills, and she now has our younger son (Pre-K) beginning to sound out and read smaller words. The best part is that when Ms. Deena arrives at our home each week, the boys are excited to see her - she makes learning fun for them and that’s what we want most for them....to have a love for learning!   We have had a wonderful experience with Mallory from Extra Mile Tutoring. Our second-grader's math ability has improved markedly since her sessions started. Mallory comes prepared for each session and our daughter loves all of the games. Mallory has a unique way of teaching academics and making learning fun and kid-appropriate.   Extra Mile Tutoring has done an amazing job with my 1st grader. My son looks forward to and loves working with Mallory every week. He has improved tremendously since starting with Extra Mile. He began 1st grade behind and very overwhelmed, so we reached out to Extra Mile to get him caught up to a 1st grade level. He went from barely reading to currently working on level E books. Mallory has also been able to boost his confidence and put a smile on his face! Reading and homework time was such a struggle in our house and now we read and do sight works with NO tears.
  
  As a mom who also teaches elementary school, I love the written lesson plans she creates every week that are catered to my child’s needs. She does a great job of mixing tasks that are hard for my son with playing fun educational games. My son loves the brag tags, stickers, and goodie box treats he receives after a session. Mallory emails me weekly a summary on what they have worked on and how I can continue working with him at home. She also communicates with my child’s teacher to reinforce what they are working on in class.
  
  As an educator and a mom, I highly recommend Extra Mile Tutoring! We are very grateful to Mallory for all the hard work she has put in for our son. We love her!

  Ms Mallory did the impossible with our son. When he started with her this past September, he barely read level A books (very first early reads). He did not understand simple math additions nor subtractions. She worked with him only two times a week and in less that three months, we could not believe the progress he made thanks to her. He can now read level H books. He expended his vocabulary, his comprehension. His math skills improved a lot as well.
  Our son respects her a lot and is always willing to do his best work for her.
  We were so lucky to find such a great tutor.

  Mallory has such a wonderful connection with students and she has the patient, loving heart of a teacher. Extra Mile Tutoring is lucky to have teachers like her in the fold and the students are lucky to have someone with such pure dedication and interest in seeing kids learn and blossom.
