Request a couponMy son has been going to the club for 4 years. He loves it. Steven is a great teacher. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of joining a karate club!!
My two children attend the club. Both of them absolutely love it. Although Steven is teaching them a valuable life tool, he ensures that it is taught in a fun way and the children always feel safe.
My daughter is very shy and quiet. Karate has helped her with her confidence and she is now a brown belt. Her school topic is Japan. The teacher was trying to teach them Japanese numbers. My daughter corrected her pronunciation and said that this is not what we have been taught at karate. She ended up taking the lesson and teaching all of the class. She would never have done this a few years ago. I believe the karate class has really helped her. Thank you.
My son has been going to Shukokai for over 5 years now and is currently brown belt with 3 black tabs. He absolutely loves it and is determined to reach black belt ????
Steven is a brilliant coach and Alfie always looks forward to his Friday class.
I am happy as a parent that this has taught him skills to be able to handle himself should the occasion arise.
Our son has been going to this club for over 2 years now & he absolutely loves it! We have seen a massive improvement in his confidence! Steven is a great teacher, he is patient, dedicated & has great banter with all the kids! Would highly recommend!
My boy joined his class last summer and absolutely loves his Wednesday class always comes out smiling, Steven and his dad are doing a great job teaching the kids not only in self defence but important life skills and discipline
My son has been attending The Shukokai Karate Club for about 7 years, and has achieved his junior black belt in that time. He loves his classes - the exercise, discipline, and confidence he gets from attending are all beneficial. Steven is so good with the kids and parents alike. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Thanks Steven for welcoming Andrew back to your classes, he loves being back & especially loves his new outfit
Thank you to Steven for teaching my boy self defence moves which were put to good use recently when he was backed into a corner and attacked and his only way out was to use the useful skills he has been taught at his karate class. So proud of my boy for doing such a brave thing but also shows he is actually listening to the useful skills Steven teaches them!
