Did Patient Zero. Staff were great. The experience itself was fun, but very brief and not too exciting, pretty repetitive. For the price, I imagined the graphics at least would be higher tech - not the same three zombies over and over. And why give us so many different weapons but no opportunities for one or the other to be better for a given scenario? Definitely has a lot of potential, but at present it felt like a letdown. My advice is to either go to Meow Wolf instead (cheaper and you can stay as long as you want) or to make it more exciting for yourself by using up every weapon, instead of only the infinity one (like I did).

Excellent VR experience. Super fun time had by all in our group, ranging from 15 yr old to 50 yr old. Highly recommended.

This place was so cool, it felt so real and you completely forget about reality. It was long, and fun but i do recommend you bring other people. There's multiple experiences to choose from. We went on diamond skull and KJ helped us. we had the time of our lives. A lot of fun and very realistic

I had an amazing time. This is our second time enjoying VR. We brought my friend to have the experience with us on this visit. We all will be back again in the near future to enjoy it all. The staff are great and the instructions are clear on how to get the best experience possible. I love it!

Set up is too long. Graphics are basic. Gameplay options are minimal. Staff was good and location was clean.
I own my own VR set, and I’ve been to “the void” virtual experience at the Palazzo. So I have a great deal experience in a high bar when it comes to VR experience. If I hadn’t had that experience, I probably would’ve been giving a 4 to 5 star rating.
My first shock was when I asked how long the experience was and I was told 45 minutes where 25 of those minutes will be dedicated to sitting up and getting in the right location. Put it on all the sensors was tiresome even with the staff being so pleasant. I have been to other VR experiences where I didn’t have to put on hand sensors or foot sensors, and everything went on quickly and efficiently, and had more of a Kevlar vest. Kind of feel across my chest. Not to mention the headphones and visual gear or all in one.
The gun model that they presented us was pretty cool, and did function well. Although I’d have to imagine that some people may have difficulty lifting the object throughout the entire event.
After finally entering the virtual world, I found the graphics to be passable but not amazing. I I didn’t have full finger control the movement like a little boxy.
The zombies were slow. There was only three types, and they basically just walked into my chainsaw if I just left it out there. I don’t know if there was an actual chance for us to failed mission but the steaks seems incredibly small.
There were some cool transitions from one level to the other, however, each set piece didn’t really call for unique strategies. My friend and I just stood back to back 95% of the time.
what I really was looking forward to was having a large area to roam around and instead I was put in what felt like a 15 x 15’ space that had minimal corridor and gameplay options.
I wanted to have a situation where my partner would have to be on one side of the room, and I would have to be on the other side of the room doing an activity and shooting from a specific location. Then one of us would have to run to the other person side to finish the puzzle. Or for us to have options to go to a roof to grab a Tourette or to go downstairs in the basement and sent mine’s or something more than just shoot shoot shoot shoot. Open sandbox game play plies that you have an unlimited amount of options.
Yes, it was fun to play with a friend and have a high score at the end but really I would just recommend buying the oculus creating a space and playing at home. -

Some haptics on the hand trackers would be a nice addition, but it's still an immersiive, fun time. Between Virtualis and axe throwing, we had a great time at Area15.

Everyone was pleasant to interact with and the person that guided us in the game was nice and helpful! Instructions were clear and it was a fun game! I would have liked the game to be longer if possible but it was still fun. I love that you could use props with this game.

We had a lot of fun. We did the patient 0 experience, and laughed histerically. The clerks were very cheery and help you have the best experience. Definitelly recomend. 10/10. I only wish they would add a single thing. I would have love the option to get it on video.

Our recent visit to Virtualis at Area15 was our second time enjoying their immersive games. While we had a lot of fun once again, some noticeable issues impacted.
We opted for the "vs each other" game during our first visit. However, our enthusiasm turned into disappointment when we realized, at the end of the game, that one player in our group hadn't hit a single target due to a missed reload. Although the importance of reloading was mentioned at the beginning, we feel that there should have been a reminder or an employee intervention to ensure everyone was on track during the game.
On our second visit, we played "Patient Zero". From the outset, my gun malfunctioned, causing reloading problems. I repeatedly mentioned this to the staff, but it took longer than expected for them to replace the gun. The staff's advice to push the reload button didn't resolve the issue, and it felt like my concerns weren't fully addressed. This affected my gameplay and my score.
Similarly, my son faced gun issues. They eventually replaced his gun, but his score and gameplay were also affected.
Despite these issues, the experience was enjoyable. However, potential visitors should be prepared for possible technical hiccups affecting gameplay and scores.
Additionally, the conclusion of "Patient Zero" felt abrupt. Once the information was collected or downloaded, the game ended without a satisfying conclusion or a return to a base, leaving us wanting more closure.
Virtualis at Area15 provides an exciting and immersive experience, but there's room for improvement regarding addressing technical glitches and providing smoother gameplay. -

We had a great time! It was our first Free Roam experience and the staff were very thorough in explaining everything. Recommend. Would do it again.
