Working in the wireless VR technology, using similar gear, we know the performance was way below average. The frame rate was low with a lot of noticeable jitter and was not a satisfying experience at all. Must acknowledge the content and the staff was nice but that is it nothing else was good that I would recommend this to someone or visit again.
Would recommend the Army of the Dead in case you want a better experience in the same area.

This place has a variety of free roam VR experiences to choose from. Located in Area 15, this is a wonderful little gem of a place!

So much fun we played it twice.
This is a Sandbox style VR. So pretty much you're in an empty room and you play VR in a semi confined space. Some of the elements in game may or may not exist physically. We played patient zero (zombie) my friends liked it so much that we played the 3 vs 3 showdown after and that was a blast. The staff was great and was there with us as over-watch to make sure we don't get injured. This is great if you haven't tried VR before. Also the reason for 4 stars in details below. It's not that Virtualis isn't great it's only because I have done a better version.
I have done The Void (VR) before and imo they are the best. So my comparison is to The Void. The Void is full immersive VR. The props, wall, buttons, doors are all real. The Void only runs one game a day. It's because they have to set up the stage and props to co-exist with the game you are playing. Unlike a sandbox style VR it's a blank room and you can upload any game you like since the props are not physical. Sandbox style VR is a lot more modular for multiple games. The Void is better at full immersion. The Void even has scents/smells that match the game. I played the Star Wars game at The Void and when you're on the lava planet you can smell smoke. It's pretty awesome. When you get to the armory there are guns on the wall that you can pick up. There are physical buttons that you have to push to open doors, enter codes. The Void is just better overall at full VR immersion, but it's limited due to the setup. Also the void doesn't require you to wear hand or feet trackers, the rooms are already tracking your every movement. It can even track your fingers, so you can actually give your friends a thumbs up in game and they will see it.
Also The Void was cheaper. I played for under $40.
Overall Virtualis (sandbox VR) is best as a business platform, but I hope The Void builds a themepark or something for VR I'd pay good money to play for hours. -

Not only was the activity itself SO much fun… but the staff was amazing. Very kind and helpful. We arrived 45 mins early and they found an earlier reservation for us… I had a little trouble once I was in the virtual world… our girl was there immediately and helped me. Most definitely will be going back!

The VR experience was definitely worth the money. I went with two other friends to play Patient Zero, a zombie shooter, and we had a blast. The virtual reality simulates our body sizes (my friends were much larger) and gave plenty of room to move and shoot. The gameplay mission was fun and integrated teamwork. I would definitely recommend this to others.
