Jo was absolutely incredible to deal with. We had an idea of what we wanted and had a go at the DIY designer but could not manage to create such a complex design whereas Jo went over and above to make it happen. She is incredible and the knowledge she has about the DIY Kitchens system is amazing. She also helped us source some very fancy accessories to take the kitchen to the next level. We couldnt be happier

With an imminent flat purchase for my mum, I met up with Joanna to see if she could suggest a way to make the kitchen space more usable, as the current layout was impractical and wasted a lot of potentially usable space.

Joanna willingly (and for free I might add!) took the time out to review the floor plan of the flat and suggested the suprisingly cheap and easy solution of simply moving the door of the kitchen a couple of feet to centralise it on a wall, allowing units to be built along the full length of both side walls. A genius idea, shared for free, with actually very little hassle to implement for maximum results.

I would highly recommend discussing any renovation plans with Joanna - she is buzzing with great ideas, and simple ways to make massive differences to your space.

  Thank you Joanna!!

We had an idea of what we wanted, and approached Jo to build the DIY kitchens basket for us, with the intention of making sure the kitchen actually fits in the space we have, and we don’t miss any panels or leave any gaps.

But having Jo design it was way better than what we had expected from her. Her work didn’t end with creating the basket - the value add she brought to the project was way more than that. There were times when we thought of reducing the length of our kitchen island because of space. Jo assured us that it will be great and there is nothing to worry about. Having used the kitchen for 9 months now, I can see that her advise on keeping the island long enough to have a place to keep items near the fridge, was bang on. She also made a custom breakfast cupboard that we wouldn’t have been able to do ourselves. If you are considering doing your kitchen, I would highly recommend the combination of DIY kitchens and Jo. For us, it turned out to be way better than what we would have achieved from any high street kitchen provider.

I have used Jo to help plan my DIY kitchen and again recently to reconfigure a wall in the kitchen. Could not have done this myself. She emailed me the DIY basket all ready for me to place order. Highly recommend Jo. She knows about kitchens!

Highly recommend Jo. She helped design our kitchen (kitchen line and kitchen island with seating) and created a wonderful design for us. She is extremely detailed and puts a lot of thought (and time!) into the design. She also knows a lot of hacks for DIY kitchens and designed two bespoke units for us (a laundry cupboard and breakfast bar), which we could have never achieved without her help. She was extremely responsive when our fitters had questions and really cares about the design coming to life, thinking of all the little details that ultimately make the kitchen special. Jo's design fee is very reasonable given the immense value she adds, so if you're thinking about DIY kitchens, I would 100% recommend getting in touch with Jo!

We used Jo to design our DIY kitchen. We were in the middle of a build and had left it quite last minute to order, but Jo was able to design a perfect kitchen and turn it around in super quick time to meet our very short deadline. She was also able to advise on appliances which really helped. Overall a great experience that really took the stress out of the situation.

I highly recommend Jo to design your kitchen. Especially if you are ordering your kitchen from DIY Kitchens. Jo is the missing link between you and DIY Kitchens. I read a lot of reviews about DIY and the quality of their cabinets and being great value for money. I had a go with their online design software but I couldn't get on with it. Then I found out about Jo's design service from an online search. Jo has been brilliant to work with. I simply sent her the kitchen measurements. She then took great care over the design process and came up with a new layout (and various layout options) that none of the High St kitchen companies had even thought of. Jo then took away all the hassle of turning the winning design into reality by completing the order with DIY kitchens. Throughout the whole process Jo has been totally professional and on hand to deal with any queries. What she doesn't know about kitchens is not worth knowing. Jo has checked in at various stages during the build process and dealt with any queries quickly. She also has a flair for interior design and all the fine details. Overall I have paid less for a new kitchen (inc Jo's fee) than I did 15 years ago when the kitchen was last done. I also have a much better layout and about 20% more storage and workspace. I will absolutely use Jo again for future projects and I have already recommended her service to other friends.

We have recently had our new DIY kitchen fitted and we could not have done it without Jo and her amazing advice and support.
She was so easy to work with, gave us really useful advice and guidance about our kitchen design ideas and helped us create our dream kitchen, including ticking all the boxes of bits I really wanted in the new kitchen like a breakfast cupboard to hide the toaster, coffee machines, kettle, microwave etc, and a larder cupboard.
Highly recommend Jo, very happy customers!

I highly recommend Joanna! She guided us through the process of a new kitchen like the pro that she is! I showed her my Pinterest feed and she immediately knew the style we were after. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she was very honest with us throughout the process.
