Dawn is Phenomenal. I made a big cross country move from New York to Rapid City. The movers emptied every drawer nothing was where it should be and my possessions totally confused. She brought everything together magically helping me to declutter what I did not need. My new apartment looks fantastic. I am so proud of it and could never have made it look this wonderful without her fabulous help. I recommend her without question. She is truly "the best". I told her I believe God sent her to me when I was desperate.

I have known Dawn for years and used her for many of my aging clients. Recently, we went through a move. We were at the tail end of the move and I felt "stuck" with how to put the rest of it away in some sort of order. I immediately thought of Dawn. We scheduled her to come over and she completely organized my things in way that is functional, easy to maintain and makes sense for how we flow as a family. Having a professional organizer makes a huge difference in how we live in our spaces in a more functional way, which makes it peaceful. Thank you, Dawn for sharing your gifts with us!

Dawn has been wonderful to work with: she is not only a hard worker, but has the experience to provide much needed advice. I would only caution people to stay out of her way- she is a tornado.

  From Clutter to Clarity-
For background, I am a married mom of 2 little girls, one being only 5 months old at the time of my first session with Project Declutter- Dawn, the beautiful, kind face behind it all. I won't bore you with the details, but my home was at the level of cluttered on its way to hoarding. (If you see the photos on her website with a purple kid's room with a rainbow waving through, that's us!) I was scared to call for help, but I did finally! And kept two appointments so far that have changed my life for the better each time. I've learned so much, decluttering is life changing. It with change the way you BUY, it will change the way you ACT, the way you CLEAN, and the way you THINK about YOURSELF while CLEANING! I need more practice with it because sometimes I feel myself falling into my old habits, but I have been especially more intentional about what I bring into my home. No more random Amazon purchases to curb my daily boredom or to get a quick dopamine fix. I could go on for days, but TLDR; just try one session with Project Declutter with a drive to succeed and change and you will change your life! I recommend her one thousand times over! Thank you, Dawn!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Dawn from Project Declutter, and she was truly amazing. When our movers unpacked, most of our belongings were just dumped into random areas and piled into the garage. On top of that, I’ll admit we brought a lot of extra things with us from the move, which made everything feel overwhelming.

Dawn came in with such kindness and compassion, and immediately put me at ease. She spent so much time with me, helping to go through everything, letting go of what we didn’t need for donation, and creating a sense of order again. She was sweet, patient, and never judgmental, just supportive every step of the way.

Not only that, she let me vent about every little thing along the way. I even talked her ear off about sentimental pieces we picked up, and some treasures we uncovered in the clutter that I had been searching for for quite some time. She listened with genuine care and made me feel heard.

Sometimes it’s the simple things, like having someone sit beside you, open a bag, and pick up an item with you, that make the biggest difference. That was exactly what Dawn did for me, and it turned what felt like a daunting task into something manageable.

I could not thank her enough for all of her help, and I would absolutely call her again in the future, whether it’s to go through a storage room, prepare for a move, or any other organizing project. She is wonderful to work with, and I wholeheartedly recommend her.

I spent 9 + years thinking I can do it myself and not spend $$$. But every start I attempted created more mess! I finally gave up and hired Dawn, putting aside my embarrassment about the clutter. In the first 4hr session my worst room was decluttered and reorganized!! I could stay at task while she eliminated the piles. The more clutter that went away, the less clutter was in my head. It's the best money I've ever spent!!! And will continue to spend for her respectful, kind and efficient help.

Admitting that you need help puts one in a vulnerable state of mind. Dawn is aware of that, she is professional and not judgemental of the chaos of your home and perhaps your in your mind. Her mission is to help your space become more your home. One step at a time. I am ever so grateful to know I can depend on her and her caring heart to help get my home organized. I can highly recommend Dawn to sort things out.
She has certainly lifted my spirits!

Dawn helped me go thru my storage things I had in my garage. I would not have been able to go thru it myself due to physical limitations. She is very kind and caring. She did all the work and I just said if I want to keep it or not. She works fast and gets the job done in a professional manner. When it was finished it was a stress relief for me to have it done and prepared me for my move.

We were overwhelmed trying to find help for our family member that lived alone and needed help decluttering and organizing his house. There were so many companies that I called that were unreliable, over priced, dishonest with pricing and just rude. We trusted Dawn to take care of our family member and she was amazing! She was patient and kind. Very respectful and communicated about the projects. She was invaluable to us! Thanks you from the bottom of our hearts!

Dawn of ProjectDeclutter deserves the highest praise for her work and for her advice. She helped me clear a relative’s home in preparation for sale. She’s methodical in her approach, works hard, works fast, and gives good and practical advice if asked. We (the family) could not have accomplished so much in such a short time without her. I give her my highest praise.

I highly recommend Dawn at Project Declutter! She truly is an expert on decluttering (where to start, where things should go etc.) She works very hard! We get so much more done together than I could ever do on my own. Also, she is very pleasant and easy to work with. If you are struggling with “too much stuff” in your life, this is a GREAT service that is well worth the price. I highly recommend!
