As a guest of Randy Coleman, I found this performance to be fantastic.
Rashida Costa- played Juanita. She did a fabulous job at writing, directing and playing co-lead in the play. This play seemed to be written and performed from her heart. The actors she chose to perform along side her did not let her down.
Randy Coleman- played Wray Edmond. You would never have known that this was his first lead role. As with all seasoned actors, he made the audience feel many different emotions. We were angry, empathetic and mourning with him at the end. His passion for acting shined from his first word to his last. Impressive to say the least.
Robert West- played the son. He did an amazing job. For me, his best part was singing a song about his loved one whom he lost. His singing was heartfelt and had the audience in tears.
This is by far one of the best stage plays I've seen. The actors and actresses made the story come to life. There were lessons learned, laughter, and some suspense. I can't wait until the tour dates become available because I'm definitely going to catch this one again. Great job to the cast members and writer!!!! Good luck!
Many thanks to cast member, Shirley Bryant, for inviting me to this amazing play. It was a well written story. that. had the author remained anonymous, I would have declared it to be straight from the mind and pen of Tyler Perry. The casts were stellar,,very, very professional, polished, confident and renowned in their individual role. Finally, the compelling theme iwas so relevant, dramatic with humor intertwined throughout. The ending drove the message into our hearts like a dagger from Dracula. Much Success. I look forward to more from the gifted author. Iona Gamble
Shirley Bryant was awesome. Great show
It was an awesome show, sad ending with the loss of the grandmother. Everyone one did a great job.
The play was amazing! You had strong-willed family members, played by a fantastic cast, wanting nothing but the best for the youngest. Betrayal lurked in the background. Definite must see. Bravo!
