I was looking for a class that would help me work towards improvement in multiple areas - physical flexibility, balance, strength and mobility as well as mental and spiritual calmness and connection. I was fortunate to find that at Canton Yoga. The flow of the class engages the body and mind as each on influences the other to improve physical and mental health. I have found this class to be a great compliment to the athletic training for my hobby of equestrian vaulting and it has helped me recover from the stress of my professional career at software company.
Thank you Thirupu for helping me take my yoga practice to the next level. I was looking for a yoga class that would challenge me but not intimidate me. Your class introduced me to new poses as well as advanced variations of traditional poses I was already familiar with and it was always done with gentle encouragement. I especially appreciated that you expanded my knowledge about the breath work of Pranayama. Vipassana meditation and walking meditation. Thank you for being wise and generous teacher that you are - a true yogi.
Its 11 months since I started practicing yoga with Thirupu. But I incorporated yoga in my life since 2010 with different instructors and I have never been with same instructor for more than 8 weeks. I was never satisfied with any of them. I felt they never cared for the yogis and their poses to be perfect and it was just instructions and it was always fast. But then I used to discontinue all of them in a couple of classes.Finally I get to know Thirupu, But I was not thinking about continuing for more than 8 weeks. Luckily in the first class I saw lots of different aspects of her instruction, which lead me to start 2 classes a week and I loved to go to the class. Because each and every class is different. She has a different syllabus to each class, which impressed me a lot. She helps each and every yogi with the poses and she works with them individually, which is what I did not see in the past few years.This is the first time I realized that yoga really works with mind and body. The way she instructs made me realize it. I always wait for Saturday to go to the Yoga class and I thoroughly enjoy it. Thanks to Thirupu I can feel lots of difference in my mind and body.
I greatly enjoy Thirupu's yoga classes. She integrates breathing exercises, meditation and nutrition advice with physical poses appropriate for yogis of all levels. I appreciate her holistic approach to yoga. She is a patient and sincere teacher and I have seen a lot of progress since I have been taking her classes. I highly recommend Thirupu's classes.
I have been taking yoga classes for about nine months and have been very satisfied with the instructor and the way she runs her classes and the small class size. The instructor has high expectations and is very helpful to every participant regardless of their degree of preparedness. She gives participants time to get comfortable with new poses. i very much appreciate that the instructor is interested in our well-being and focused on positivity and a great yoga experience. To me, this is a time to both physically work out but also relax. Overall, I am having a great experience and am thankful for working with Thirupu.
I find Thirupu's yoga class very useful. The class has introduced me to several yogasanas that improve, strength, flexibility and balance. I also learnt basics of pranayama and meditation. At the end of every class I feel rejuvenated. The class has inspired me to make yoga into a personal practice and priority. I hope to introduce yoga to my daughter soon.Highly recommend this class for an authentic experience in learning yoga.
I have enjoyed practicing yoga under Thirupu's guidance. I must say I was a bit reluctant before my first class, but since the very first day I could recognize the benefits of Yoga mentally, physically and emotionally.Thirupu takes a holistic approach to her teachings and incorporates a variety of poses and healthy lifestyle advice. Overall, its been a very worthy use of my time and resources and I look forward to every session.
I have been practicing yoga with Thirupu since 2012. Regardless of how busy life is, I make sure to attend class atlas once a week because of all of the benefits I receive from the class. Not only becoming more flexible physically, but also a more balanced and positive energy. I really enjoy the class balance of being challenging and relaxing at the same time.

I am doing yoga with Thirupu since 2012. I was suffering with chronic back pain for several years, 3/4 incidents per year. After I started practicing yoga with Thirupu my back is strong enough to manage my routines.
