  Both the pool instructor and the ocean instructor/owner were very very kind and competent. I was very scared in the pool and before the first ocean dive because I had an irrational fear of being unable to equalize my ears. I was calmed down and went into the ocean with no issue. I was so relieved when I finished my first dive and was excited to do the next three to get my certification. We went to flamingo and Neptune both days. Neptune was really cool because it’s an underwater memorial with very cool statues that critters are hiding in. The instructor/owner (Carlos) went out of his was to show us cool ocean life. We saw sea turtles, a shark, an eel, lobster, crabs, puffer fish, and so much more. Then by the end, I was certified. I went from being scared to being excited. I hope to get more certifications soon so I can go even deeper next time.

  Had a wonderful afternoon with Ace Diving. I hadn't been in open water for several years so signed up for a PADI refresher course. Carlos, Nestor, and Melissa were extremely thorough and patient when going over the material. One the same dive, we did the skills tests while exploring a reef, spotting some blue tangs, a small school of grunts, and other reef fish. Had my Miami visit been longer, I would have definitely come back the next day. I highly recommend Carlos and the crew at Ace Diving for your scuba learning.

  Superb dive operation located right in downtown Miami. Carlos and his team are incredibly professional and know how to find the right balance between fun, professionalism and safety. Their boat is meticulously maintained, organized and so clean that you can eat off the deck. Convenient to everywhere in the south Florida area and a very short walk or Uber for those visitors who are staying in Downtown Miami/Wynwood and Miami Beach. Highly Recommended.
