The crew is very attentive, detailed, responsive, engaging, and flexible - they also provide all the needed equipment and keep it very well-maintained. I felt very safe with them.
I earned my PADI Open Water Dive certification with Ace Diving over the past few weeks and really enjoyed the lessons with Carlos and the rest of the team - they were very encouraging, thorough in preparing me, making sure I felt comfortable, understood the safety and the "whys" (as opposed to "just do this and that"), and showing me the areas I should improve in.
The snorkelers and other scuba divers on our boat all had a great experience as well!
They typically do 2-dive sites per trip depending on the weather: we went to a beautiful coral reef that had all the fish you'd see in Finding Nemo, and an underwater, active Cemetery/Memorial Reef.
Both dive spots were absolutely gorgeous, with crystal clear water and plenty to see!
I'll definitely go back to Ace Diving next time I'm in Miami!
Ace Diving had such friendly, professional and knowledgeable crew. I did open water diving course with Ace Diving and had amazing experience learning with instructors Carlos and Mike. They made learning fun and enjoyable. I would definitely want to dive with them again in future.
What a great team!!!! They know where, when and the best way to enjoy scuba diving, the ship is perfect, wonderful people working all together to create the best experience ever.

This review is only for the snorkeling trip that Ace Diving offers in tandem with its scuba diving trips. The divers who were on our boat seemed to have a great time. So first, it's very clear that the divers are this business's focus, and snorkelers are essentially second class citizens. Neither of the stops we made outside of Miami were conducive to snorkeling AT ALL. We were about 20 feet above the sea floor in both locations, and because the water was choppy, we had to wear life vests that then obviously precluded being able to even dive down and look at the reefs far below. I saw one fish the entire time. Obviously, the crew can't control the weather, but to call this a "snorkeling trip" is laughably misleading. Essentially, we paid $110 dollars per person to bob on the surface of the open ocean. Go elsewhere.
