Downtown Pittsburgh's only bookstore is a wonderful gem of hidden treasures. A great place for new and used books, you're never quite sure what you may stumble upon there. Prices are great - I picked up a hardbound Robert Galbraith novel for $5 - and the selection is always changing. Their history and fiction selection is quite large for the space, and any fans will undoubtedly find something they'd like to take home with them. I do wish their non-fiction selection was a little larger at times, as it's heavy on the biographies and memoirs. They also usually try to feature some local Pittsburgh based books, for those of us who love to see how this city has changed over the years.

Selection is limited and priced high for a used book store. Employees are nice.

This store had a lot of pretty cool records, the guy who checked me out with the beard was super friendly and nice to have a conversation with. I got some harder to find records there which was great! I will definitely be returning in the near future! Thanks Amazing Books!

Amazing Books is a treasure! I always find a stack of new books to take home! The staff and especially owner Eric are attentive and helpful. I am so grateful to have this store in our neighborhood and I live the Saturday night shopping hours and frequent parties! Do not miss the chance to visit often as there is always something new!

There's a lot crammed into this little store. I just wish more of the stock could be displayed on shelves.

I ended up having a delightful conversation with the owner before I left. I wish him all the best in life and business. Be sure to stop by and buy something to help him support his growing family. :)
