Best local moving service in town.

Beaver Town Movers did a fantastic job. Ours was a local move in Corvallis. They showed up on time and loaded/unloaded everything in a very reasonable amount of time. Total cost of the move was also very reasonable and much lower than other local moving companies. I highly recommend them.

We packed up my daughter in Olympia, WA and she had more stuff than we thought. Her new place in Corvallis was a third floor walk up and my 64 year old friend and I decided we could not cart it all up the stairs. I called Beaver Town at about noon. Nate answered and agreed to meet me at her building in Corvallis at 6:00 PM after he and his associate finished another job. They arrived a little early and the entire truck unloaded into her apartment in under an hour. Same day service! They were awesome! Very careful, efficient and super nice. They saved the day!!

The service provided is SUPERB! There's guys are professional, efficient, considerate and just plain down to earth and made the the whole move less stressful.

They are hardworking and so willing to pay attention to little details and will help where possible.

So glad I used their service. Will do so again without a doubt.

All the other reviews that gave 5 stars are right to do so. The guy who gave 1 start is confused...

Do Not ‘Leave It To Beaver’!

Having made the decision to move out of state at 78 years old, (I am a single gal), I was terrified of the significant decisions that faced me. I heard from a friend that I could find experienced movers that could really help me from U-Haul’s website. Having registered on their site and after reading their reviews, I selected Beaver Moving from the list of providers on the U-Haul page.

Initially thought I could use the U-Haul storage container, but after evaluating sizes, I determined that I needed a much larger solution, so PODS was selected. I ordered the largest one - 16ft. But still nervous on capacity, I contacted Blair and asked if he could verify I had enough space. He agreed to consult and inspect for $40. He arrived 10 days prior to my move, and his expert advice was that all items in the home would fit but not the items in my shed. So I went to task and donated all of the shed items to ensure everything would fit.

An interstate move with PODS 1/2 way across the country isn’t cheap - $3200 just for the transportation, $250/mo storage plus pickup & delivery fees.

Blair showed up with his crew 1 day prior to the ‘load’ day. The POD had arrived. Blair spent that whole day around all my goods, but did not alert or caution me further about ‘capacity’. I even directly asked the capacity questions again, to ensure I would be safe. Blair continued to confirm he felt we would be good. All day walking around, handling my goods, he never said a word. Until the following day, when he arrived to load the packed goods into the POD. His employee Brandon warned us from the earliest point of the day that ‘he was very concerned as to if there was enough space’. Blair, eventually agreed. I stressed the importance of knowing if we were in a space shortage. It was then that they alerted that I better start working on getting another POD.

So after hiring Blair to consult me on this, his lack of ability to accurately analyze my goods ended up costing me over $5000 additional in the necessity of an additional 16ft POD, doubling every expense I had.

Upon receipt of my goods at my new home, in addition to the extreme additional costs that I trusted Blair to consult me on, my goods were VERY POORLY PACKED. Many items were crushed & damaged because of improper packing and bracing.

In my ‘expert’ opinion, I would only hire Beaver Moving if you want to spend more than double and want all your things damaged. I wish I could give negative stars on this review.

  WORST. MOVING. EXPERIENCE. EVER.
