Can't say enough about Dr. Cox and his staff. Always caring, always available and always respectful. When my son tore his ACL, he clearly explained all that would happen, contacted us regularly (even off hours) to check on him, and never hesitated to answer even the smallest question from a worried mom. When my father subsequently fell and broke his leg that required surgery (even on New Year's day) Dr. Cox was there. He's becoming one of our family. So thankful to have him in our community.
I messed up thumb (first metacarpal) really bad skateboarding. Dr. Cox had me in for surgery within a couple days of meeting him, and I had a complete recovery in less time than was expected. He does a really good job explaining exactly what he is doing and why, which helped relieve anxiety during the whole process. He even called my mom to explain what was going on, because she lives in a different city and this was during the stay at home order. He made himself available via text if I had questions and even called to check in on me after surgery. Overall, the whole process was surprisingly quick and easy.
My daughter had sprained her ankle while dancing in ballet class several years ago. Due to her extensive dance history she went through physical therapy to help her fully regain her strength. It helped initially but pain continued to a point that she was reducing the amount of dance classes including her passion of pointe ballet. We wanted to find an orthopedic doctor that specializes in sport injuries. Her goal was to be able to return to dance her senior year. We chose Dr. Cox and from the first visit we found it to be a relaxing environment where the goal from the start was recovery to an optimal level of performance. Every visit was focused on what was best for her and her future goals. After offering and trialing different options it was determined that surgery was necessary and Dr. Cox explained every aspect of the procedure at my daughters level and made her feel apart of the process. I am happy to say that as she enters her senior year she will not only be able to return dance as a dancer but also as a teacher. We are extremely satisfied with our experience and will continue to recommend Dr. Cox to all our friends and family.
Dr. Cox explained everything very well, and answered all my questions before I scheduled the surgery. He had them give me a shoulder block before I went into the operating room, which helped immensely with pain after surgery. The surgery went very well, and I had much less pain post surgery then I expected, based on what other people that had the same surgery had told me. I had good results from the procedure and am very happy that I had it done. Dr. Cox and his staff were wonderful throughout the entire experience. I can't think of anything else they could have done to make my experience better. My thanks to them all. Dr. Cox is a very friendly, caring, easy to talk to guy. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Cox repaired my shoulder from a previous surgery and it now feels great. He is an excellent doctor and very knowledgeable and current on medical treatments. He is very personable and takes the time to listen to any concerns or questions you might have. I highly recommend him as a doctor.
My experience with Dr Cox was very good he is very good at taking his time going over what your needs are and what should be done does not rush you through and checking up after surgery was great I have no problem recommending this guy for your needs thank you again doctor Cox for what you have done for me.
I would highly recommend Dr. Cox and his team. Dr. Cox is not only on the cutting edge as a surgeon, he is approachable, easy to understand, and compassionate. I was always impressed with how much he shared with me about the entire process; I always knew what he was doing, why he was doing it, and my own role in my recovery. His extensive training and experience should make him your top choice for getting back in the game!
Dr. Cox is an excellent physician! I’ve had successful shoulder surgery and plasma replacement therapy for my hip. I am 100% recovered and I have and would highly recommend Dr. Cox for your orthopedic needs.
Dr. Cox was not the first specialist I went to, but he will definitely be the only one I go to from now on. Top-notch professional care - I had a very nasty tear to my rotator cuff, and he did a fabulous job with the repair. Afterward, he followed up with me and my wife multiple times. After my surgery, I would often call his office and leave a message with a question or concern. He always called me back personally. My shoulder is doing great - best decision I ever made was to choose Dr. Cox.
Dr Cox has a genuine concern for his patients and an excellent bedside manner. Had knee surgery and the whole process was relatively easy with minimal life disruption. I definitely would recommend him. Any more injuries and this is where I will be going! Staff is friendly and efficient and the office atmosphere is very nice.
I'm a medical transportation driver and often take passengers here for their appointments. And they tell me that the staff is very friendly and helpful. And they received compassionate and professional care from the doctors.
I was referred to Dr. Cox for a problem with my right elbow. I received a phone call from a member of his staff to schedule an appointment, and then she sent me a link via email to do all the new patient paperwork online. There were a lot of detailed questions, some of which I had never been asked before on this type of paperwork. I was surprised, but answered as many as I could in as much detail as possible. When I arrived at Dr. Cox's office on the appointed date and time, his staff greeted me very professionally and warmly, asking me to verify all my information on a tablet and sign if correct. X-Rays were taken of my injured elbow, and Dr. Cox's assistant asked me some more questions about my elbow and history. Dr. Cox came into the room, asked me some more questions and then showed me my X-Rays. An ultrasound was needed to find out what was going on because there were no bone fractures, spurs, etc., showing up. Instead of saying I had to schedule another appointment for the ultrasound, his assistant wheeled the equipment in right then and there, Dr. Cox himself performed the ultrasound, and showed me exactly what was going on in my elbow! I was thrilled! Then he told me what my alternatives were to treat the problem, we both agreed on the first plan of action, and Dr. Cox performed that procedure immediately and then gave me some post-procedure instructions. Again, I didn't have to wait for another appointment; everything was done in one office visit! It has been five days so far since my elbow was treated, and it is doing great. Dr. Cox asked me to let him know how it progresses throughout time, which I will do. Dr. Cox is a very skilled, compassionate physician who knows how to treat his patients. His staff is the same way. If I need more orthopaedic medical help in the future, I won't hesitate to call upon Dr. Cox and his expertise.
My appointments with Dr. Cox were remarkable in a number of ways. First, his entire “support” team responded with friendliness, efficiency, and professionalism. Then, my wait in the lobby and in the exam room never exceeded ten minutes. Also, I was surprised to be offered a beverage (tea, water, coffee, or hot chocolate) while I waited in the examination room. Dr. Cox listened with caring and respect to my orthopedic issues, knowledgeably diagnosed, collaborated with me about treatment options, and clearly communicated the treatment plan. My experience was most positive. Highly recommend!
I was impressed with his amazing caring attitude towards me as a person. He was interested in me and my family not just my major concern for seeing him. He's very encouraging. Has excellent bedside manners. Very personable and professional. He takes the needed time to be with his patients.
I appreciated his knowledge of nutrition and his support of a healthy lifestyle as well as his knowledge of traditional medicine.
He has a progressive practice and keeps up to date on methods.
His office staff and personal trainers are very kind and accommodating.
It's a great place to go to get great care! I encourage and direct as many as possible to check this place out.
Dr. Cox and his team are first class. The attention and time they spend to ensure you get the service and treatment you need is outstanding. Dr. Cox cares about his patients and it shows. His knowledge is amazing. Highly recommend his team to any seeking treatment.
I was very pleased with Dr. Cox and his office staff. Everyone was very professional and acknowledgeable from the front end to the back end. I would highly recommend Dr. Cox. Dr. Cox is very personable and takes the time to answer any questions you have. Dr. Cox even looked over my x-rays while I was still in the clinic, prior to a long upcoming holiday weekend so, I didn't have to wonder about my results for several days. I would recommend Dr. Cox for any Orthopedic needs.
During the nasty ice storm of February 2019, my husband fell when walking. He ended up with two clean breaks and two hairline fractures combined between the Tibia and Fibula bones in his left leg. While we were in the emergency room, we asked everyone we encountered who they would recommend for surgery. The overwhelming response was Dr Cox. From the very first moment, Dr Cox was very personable and put my husband at ease. He told us exactly what we could expect and when. Surgery was scheduled quickly and aftercare was amazing. It has been just over four months since the fall and my husband has bounced right back. With planting season so close, we were nervous about whether or not he would be able to get up and down in the tractor or walk the fields. Not only did he make it back in time but he was able to walk, unassisted, before the season started! We would definitely recommend not only Dr Cox, but also his support staff, with any orthopedic need you may have!
Absolutely love Dr Cox and his entire staff. You are treated as people not numbers. He did my husband's foot surgery a few months ago. The man knows his business extremely well, explained the procedure along with photos of before and after as soon as surgery was over.
His staff are so nice and accommodating from office personnel to his assistants. We have had a couple of unforseen times that we needed to be seen by Dr. Cox......and let me say, this entire team has worked us into their already busy schedules. Dr Cox is awsome, highly recommend this man.
Dr Cox is a very good doctor I had shoulder surgery and he explained everything that he was going to do we went over x-rays, MRI, I was more at ease, after I got home from surgery he called twice to see how I was doing and if I had any questions. I am very pleased with the service I received from Dr. Cox.
I was very new to knee injuries and when I tore my meniscus I was referred to Dr. Cox. I would HIGHLY recommend him. He has a great way of making you feel comfortable about your injury, as well as providing all the knowledge you need. The staff is very professional and kind too! 5/5
Dr. Cox is a very up and coming DO. He has an outstanding bedside manner along with a personality that makes you feel very comfortable to talk with him. Extremely satifisfied with the outcome of my surgery. Thanks for all you do.
