Gotta love Leafy delivery - and on Christmas weekend no less! Ordered it this morning and it was here at 11:00 a.m. I tried Leafy, and appreciate its strength and softless. Lots of times, toilet tissue is more handy and economical than facial tissue (Kleenex), but it leaves so much lint. It's great to dab on my eyes when they start tearing up (that's one symptom of fibromyalgia and exposure to environmental pollutants--I am very allergic to multiple irritants). I also have to be cautious with tender body parts due to diverticuloies/diverticulitis. I don't want to put bleached, cancer-causing chemicals on my sensitive skin. Buy Leafy. They'll literally save your a....
Safety is the utmost priority when you have chronic health issues, and that includes what we put on our bodies. Leafy is safe (no bleaching) and saves trees. "Dioxins (a bioproduct of toilet paper bleaching) are a group of highly toxic chemical compounds that are harmful to health. They can cause problems with reproduction, development, and the immune system. They can also disrupt hormones and lead to cancer. Known as persistent environmental pollutants (POPs), dioxins can remain in the environment for many years."
And this is another small but important environmental decision you can make. Leafy is an alternative to cutting down trees. Avoid spreading more carcinogens in and on our bodies or polluting waste water and sewer systems, contaminating landfills (which leach into ground water), and avoid polluting public water recycling treatment systems.
I am happy to do an automatic monthly refill of this three-ply, unbleached toilet paper (it contains no cancer-causing dioxins, a by-product of bleaching).
