I have been training with Mark for nearly 10 years, both on a one to one basis and in Wing Chun. If you are looking for tailored sessions to your needs, while being inspire to achieve more and push yourself that little bit further Mark is your man. He is very knowledgeable and approachable, his services and classes are highly recommended.
Mark is a great people person. his classes are suitable for all abilities. Mark encourages you and makes sue you have fun at the same time as well as improving your fitness. You feel welcome and part of a group as soon as you walk through the door.
I have been attending Boot Camp for a number of years. Mark is an excellent trainer who has a great variety of exercises which allows him to keep the sessions engaging and fun. Mark has a real passion for improving peoples fitness and knows how and when to increase the challenge. Boot camp is a great option for anyone who enjoys high intensity exercise and wants to improve their fitness. These sessions would be suitable to any level of fitness though as Mark's level of knowledge allows to to differentiate the activities for all participants.
I have been to lots of fitness classes in and around Birmingham and Martial Arts & Fitness is by far the best. Mark is really knowledgeable and keeps the classes fun and varied. I have seen a significant improvement to my fitness and strength in a short perope of time. My son also attends Defence lab which has helped his confidence and coordination. A great place if you want to have fun and get / keep fit.
After not exercising for many years I didn't know it could be as invigorating and fun. Mark is an excellent trainer and is able to make everyone feel included and valued. Truly life changing and I've not only improved fitness, but lost weight and improved my mental fitness too. The most welcoming of places with lovely people. Can't recommend highly enough. Mark's classes are really challenging and it can take a few weeks to get into your stride. But the truth is you won't get fitter until you challenge yourself, and after a short while you'll be amazed at your progress. You'll be in a friendly supportive atmosphere, you'll look forward to your class and then it's addictive! Then you're on your way to becoming fitter, healthier and bursting with energy.

Best Personal Trainer EVER!!!! After experiencing some health challenges i wanted to take back some control and Mark was the perfect trainer to help. He researched my medical condition, he pays attention to my aches and pains and always finds a way to help me achieve! Mark makes you feel welcome and comfortable while working you to your full potential. I have been seeing Mark as a PT since 2012, having done a lot of research-I was involved in a serious road accident in 2006, which has left me with multiple ongoing physical injuries. I wanted someone who would understand my injuries and restrictions and help to push me to attain some of the physical fitness and abilities I had prior to the accident (I was an extremely keen cyclist and runner-my fitness dominated my life, and ironically I was hit by a speeding car whilst on my bike in the Pyranees).
I trust Mark and his knowledge and experience. He has helped me from being able to ‘stomp’ around, to someone who is able to run for an emergency, I have strength and co-ordination, my core muscles are strong which really helps with balance.
In 2014, together with colleagues from work, I was able to walk the half marathon to raise funds for QEHB and the air ambulance-which was really important to me, but only achieved with Mark’s coaching.
Personal Training is not just about becoming a fit, sculpted person, it’s about becoming the person you want to be fitness wise, and achieving the goals you set yourself.

Started with mark with personal training and wing chun, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done, I feel great, more confident, energetic and overall healthier and happier. If you want to make a change in your life do it now, there are loads of classes available from martial arts to Pilates and even kids classes, there is something for everyone, friendly atmosphere and mark is such a welcoming guy, I would have given 10 stars if I could!!!
Mark is an excellent personal trainer. He has such a wide range of exercises and activities that each session is different, varied and tailored to my fitness level. I used to find going to the gym repetitive but now I enjoy every session and really feel my fitness improving each week.
