My son, Max began the Learn to Swim program with Damien when he was just 4 years old. He was quite the handful—an energetic little boy who loved to bounce around and jump on Damien's back like a playful monkey! I often wondered if I should just wait a few years to get him started, thinking he might be a bit disruptive and that he was taking up Damien's time. However, Damien remained incredibly patient and dedicated to Max, always reminding me that consistency pays off. His guidance was exactly what Max needed, and it has truly made a difference. Fast forward four years and Max is 8 years old and proudly part of the DG Swim Squad, training twice a week. He just finished first in an U9’s 300m ocean swim, against of all the southern Gold Coast clubs and he also represented his school, coming in third at The Gold Coasts Catholic Schools Swimming Carnival. These achievements are a testament to Damien’s hard work and dedication as a coach! My son absolutely adores him and respects him immensely because he truly is the best of the best!

We absolutely love this swim school. The dedication from Damien and the whole team is incredible. If you're serious about teaching your kids to swim at a high level, I totally recommend this swim school, they definitely don’t muck around.
At the beginning I was a bit sceptical about group classes as Zoe(6) and Alex(3) always had one-on-one lessons before. However all my worries eased after a few minutes on the very first class. The technique they use is truly unique to DGSwim. Highly recommend the school to anyone being a toddler or an adult.
