  I’m so glad I had the privilege of having Melissa as my doula for my first 6 weeks as a mom. Being able to chat and absorb her wisdom was so nourishing for my postpartum recovery and breastfeeding journey. We shared many laughs and celebrated many wins together. She always checked in on my mental health and became a steady source of emotional support during those especially fragile first few weeks.
  
  Melissa was so sweet and gentle with our baby, and extremely patient and thorough. My husband and I felt completely comfortable stepping out to get groceries and run errands knowing our baby was in such caring hands. Melissa taught us several techniques for helping our baby burp and pass gas, which lead to longer and more peaceful naps. She also gave us tips for bath time and baby wearing, and diligently helped us stay on top of laundry and cleaning/sanitizing breastfeeding gear.
  
  When Melissa was with us it was so much easier to rest and take naps which was a huge relief. It’s hard to not get emotional when I think about how grateful I am for everything she’s done for us! It’s clear she loves the work she does and truly adores the babies she works with, which is so touching to witness. We’d certainly recommend Melissa to anyone seeking a doula!

  As a first-time single mum, I was nervous and overwhelmed during those first few nights with my newborn. Melissa’s energy was so calming, warm, and reassuring that I immediately knew my baby was in the safest, most loving hands whenever she was around.
  
  From breastfeeding and bottle feeding to swaddling and soothing my baby back to sleep, Melissa patiently guided me through those early days, answering my endless questions and helping me build confidence as a new mum. Her extensive knowledge of apothecary, herbal medicine, and holistic wellness was equally invaluable. Having someone with her depth of knowledge to guide me through my postpartum healing, nutrition, and overall well-being made me feel genuinely supported, both physically and emotionally.
  
  Beyond caring for my baby, Melissa took such wonderful care of me, too. From helping with meal preparation to tackling household tasks, she gave me the space to rest, recover, and enjoy those precious early days of motherhood. She truly understands that caring for a newborn also means caring for the mother.
  
  I have recommended Melissa to every friend and family member I can. She has become so much more than a doula to me; I genuinely consider her a part of my family. She will forever hold a special place in my heart and in my memories of becoming a mother.

  Melissa was such a great support for me during my pregnancy process. She consistently checked in with great suggestions when needed. Throughout my labour and delivery she kept me grounded and provided me with helpful information and tips. Her presence was very calming and she demonstrated great knowledge and compassion.
