5 stars isn't enough! From the first meeting with Mark he made us feel at ease welcome and heard he met our needs and more. The atmosphere alone in the funeral directors was a warm lovely place. Mark excelled every time we had a question or problem. Honestly couldn't thank you all enough. You've been our rock last week or so couldn't thank you enough! Just wish I could give you more stars. Thank you for being you and provided an outstanding service for a very loved man he would be smiling down knowing he had the best send off ever! Rouse and co from meeting mark for the first time he met more than our needs even walking into the funeral Directors it’s was bright warm had a lovely feel about the place was patient kind and willing to do anything to provide the perfect send off for a loved one! Despite being in a pandemic he done an excellent job was always there when we needed him did not rush us with anything excelled in every way! Everyone made sure the day ran smoothly and it did couldn’t thank you all enough honestly! Arranging a funeral for your loved one Is daunting enough, but organising funerals for my Mum and Aunt, within a week of one another, during the COVID-19 pandemic was such an emotional time. Mark Rouse was so understanding and arranged everything with such dignity and diligence, taking all the pressure off me. I am so grateful to him and his 5* company. I would certainly recommend Rouse & Co to my friends and family.

Mark, his wife and team made this extremely difficult time a little easier, from the first phone call mark made me feel at ease and then on meetjng him he explained every detail clearly and precisely, with such a huge amount of care, he made everything seem possible and made all our requests a reality and i felt the cost was very reasonable, the florist ge recommended did an excellent job and the horse and carrige were perfect, just what my mother in law wanted. I would highly recommend mark and his team just make the initial phone call and you’ll see why it was an easy choice to go with Rouse & Co independant funeral directors. Thank you so very much

I wanted to thank Rouse & Co for the outstanding service provided following the sudden and unexpected death of my brother just before Christmas. Mark understood our needs and requirements perfectly and discussed all the options available to us. He was particularly helpful in dealing with the Coroner on our behalf. The service provided by Rouse & Co exceeded our expectations in all areas. We felt that nothing was too much trouble and would have no hesitation in recommending them to provide a first class and dignified service and at very difficult time.

In nightmare circumstances of suddenly losing my much missed wife Cindy of 37 years,from an acute cardiac arrhythmia;caused by marfan syndrome,also as a mother to our three children,and nanny to our four grandchildren, Mark was compassionate,caring,understanding,patient and professional;all qualities you need and should expect;when you are going through such sad times. We were able to see my wife in their chapel of rest when we wanted;after work and at weekends,and the day itself ran smoothly. Carrie Ann Mark's wife complimented him perfectly;from the few times I saw her;but it was mainly Mark who communicated with me. The recent pre Christmas remembrance service conducted by a local vicar was touching;for all relatives who lost a loved one in 2018. The vicar blessed the Christmas tree,and I attached little personal messages to Cindy from myself,our children,and our grandchildren too;a nice touch;again instigated by Mark and Carrie Ann. Thank you Mark and Carrie Ann;you certainly deserve more than your five star rating;you are good people;I endorse you,and fully recommend you!

Mark and Carrie-Anne handled my mother’s funeral a few weeks ago. I cannot speak highly enough of the care, professionalism and all round brilliant job they did. They took all the worry out of the arrangements which was such a comfort at a really difficult time. On the day itself - Mark and his team were immaculate and it all went like clockwork. They instilled well founded confidence and really cared about my mum. Of course - funerals aren’t cheap - but I think the cost was straightforward and competitive. I am still in touch with them and aftercare has been great. Thanks very much to them.
