I cant praise henry homes enough for the quick pre storm roof repair! Henry and Peggy were so kind, professional and down to earth. I will be using Henry Homes for bigger projects in the near future.
For home owners whose property backs up to a lake, we find that, over time, the lake progressively claims more and more of our back yards through erosion and damage due to critters (rodents). We researched this problem and found that, one cure, was to build a bulkhead using bags of Quikrete, which is a Concrete Mix.
We were referred to Henry Homes, as a contractor who could do this work. Many bags of quikrete were stacked in the lake, at a predetermined location, and dirt was used to backfill the void to re-establish our original back yard size. Sod was added and we again have full use of our original back yard space.
A couple of weeks after the bulkhead was built, we noticed a few of the bags had deteriorated to the point that a repair was needed. We contacted Henry Homes and they cheerfully, came out and replaced the defective bags of quikrete and made sure that we were pleased with the final results.
In life, things don’t always work according to plan. A true measure of a good Contractor, is how they handles things after the job is complete. I would highly recommend hiring Henry Homes for this kind of work, as they are a very Quality-Minded Organization, that places a very high-level of importance on customer satisfaction.
Our home was damaged from someone running into the side of it, my husband Andrew contacted Henry Homes. All of the rooms were repainted the floors was redone from plain peel & stick tiles to hard wood floors they came out so BEAUTIFUL. The walls were painted & even extras was done that was not expected. In my boys room & living room he replaced the ceiling fans, I can't remember the last time that they did work. Repainted the entire outside of the house, replaced rotten wood. To sum it all up the service was Excellent. Thank You Henry Homes!!!
My husband and I had planned on installing our new engineered wood floors in our foyer and den the week of Easter. My husband had taken the week off and we were prepared, or so we thought. Our schedules became overloaded with 6 baseball games that week, and we were not able to do the installation.
Through a referral, we called Henry at Henry Homes and he stopped by to look at our job. Most contractors would have looked at our job and given us a high estimate because the job was not huge, or just walked away.
Henry quickly gave us a time frame that worked with our schedules, and the job was completed in just a day with a few follow up things the next day.
Our floors are beautiful. The work was outstanding. We have a huge crescent shape brick fireplace that they had to make specific cuts for. You cannot imagine how precise their cuts were.
Henry Homes also took on a few other jobs that I asked about while he was doing the floors. They installed a light over our sink and replaced light fixtures in both bathrooms.
We have another room to put floors down in and we will 100% be calling Henry at Henry Homes to do this job, as well as any other we have to do.
When putting our home up for sale, our agent suggested we install a door to close off part of the house. Since the flood, finding respectable contractors who could do the job quickly has been difficult. My husband did find a door that would fit but it would need some modifications. We sold the house with the conditions that the door would be installed. The clock was ticking. A few days later, our neighbor recommended Henry Knieper, of Henry Homes. They were just finishing up his flooring, and it was beautiful. Mr. Henry was there and came to check out our door. By the end of the very next day, the door was modified, installed, and painted. It looks great. His price was more than fair, and his workers were very courteous. We will gladly recommend this company to anyone.
Where do I even begin when there aren't enough words to express my gratitude for all you have done and continue to do for my family and I? Your humbleness and knowledge, along with your desire to serve others came at the perfect time in my life, the unimaginable flood of 2016. I remember the very first day I met you and made the decision to have you rebuild my home. You said three profound words to me, "I got you!" Although I wasn't sure in the beginning, each day you proved your words to be true. Once the initial shock of the flood wore away, you worked hard daily to get me to realize that this was just a new beginning, not only with my home but with my "new life" in general. I can't thank you enough for that. Day in and day out, we planned every detail of how I envisioned my home. I love that you gave advice when I asked but also told me the best route professionally and gave me the freedom to choose for myself. My home... there is no other word than WOW! I never thought I would have so much joy in my heart after the flood until I walked in and saw my new home. Henry, you have truly outdone yourself! Even a million "thank yous" will never be enough!
I wanted to write to say thank you so much for a wonderful, great job that you all did on my beautiful new home. I was impressed with you from the very start. You did exactly what you said you would do to remodel my home. I just love it. I also want to thank your crew for the outstanding job they did. You all were professional, amazing, great attitudes, and hard working men. So, Mr. Henry, thank you so much for your hard work. I will refer you to many people, letting them know just how pleased I am with your work.

Henry Homes built my new home in Plaquemine, LA. At the time I got started building, I was paying over $1000 to rent a small 2 bedroom apartment that was honestly pretty run down. The nice apartments in my area are very expensive. I looked into owning a home, but nothing in the area felt just right to buy. That's when I decided to build. The whole process was streamlined and easy for me, and at the end of it, I had a brand new custom built home with equity already in it! Henry is knowledgeable, professional, and committed to excellent work. I'm so happy to be in my new beautiful home! And I'm paying about the same amount to OWN my home as I was paying to rent something much smaller and run down.
