Down Range full house!!!

Went to another Down Range last night and much to my surprise it was a full house 7-8 of us, it was awesome. Finally others are getting the jest of what a good deal this session is. Noell had some help from Michael and was a great time...with lots of enthusiasm and support of each other as we went through several drills. Hard to beat the content from the classes...Conceal Carry Range, Advanced Pistol 1 & 2. The thing is there are very few places you can go to practice what you learned in those classes. However...that's where Down Range comes in...getting to practice what you learned in previous classes to keep honing your skills.

Great training!

My wife and I took the Advanced Pistol 1 recently. We highly recommend Bishop 30 for your firearms training. This was our fourth class with Noell Bishop and we will be taking additional classes as well. Great instruction! I’m prior law enforcement and a competitive shooter and I’ve learned new skills and methods in his classes. He takes his time to walk you through each exercise making sure you understand it before doing any live-firing. He also trains for proficiency to make sure you can perform the skill before moving on to the next one. My wife has become a more confident and proficient shooter as well. Down Range

I cannot begin to explain how much you are missing out if you are not following up your classes with Bishop 30 Solutions with the Down Range sessions offered. You're really missing out on the ability to "practice" anything and everything you were taught in other classes in these inexpensive sessions. A great way to hone the skills you were taught in previous classes. OUT-STANDING!!

My Lovely Bride and I just participated in the Handgun 101 course given by Bishop30 Solutions. Our primary goal was to let my Lovely Bride, who has NEVER held nor shot a gun before, overcome her anxiety of guns through becoming familiar with them. The Professionals at Bishop30 Solutions certainly delivered on this!! I am so thankful to have been pointed in their direction - my Bride is quite a lot more comfortable now than prior, and we are both looking forward to additional training time with Bishop 30, and range time together!! Noel and his team struck the PERFECT "tone" for completely inexperienced folks, and those who are perhaps familiar but very...VERY...rusty (like me).

Well worth the time

I have hunted all my life and long guns are very familiar to me, but only for the last few years have i been carrying a sidearm. My wife and I did this class for her birthday and in preparation for purchasing a handgun for her birthday. We liked all of the class but especially the option to try several different guns. It helped her make her decision and taught us both a lot.

Great mother-daughter date!

The class was awesome! So much more detail than I would have thought from a beginner’s class. I’ve been shooting my whole life but have never had training. I almost didn’t take the class because I already feel comfortable with a firearm but I’m so glad I did!! The teachers were wonder and patient and hilarious. I can’t wait to take my next class.

Handgun 101 and Selection

I'm fixing to buy another handgun, so I wanted to explore some options. I enjoyed the class presentation and training, however I really enjoyed the range time. I did very well with revolvers, but wearing a mask fogged up my glasses so much that my semi-auto shooting suffered (at least that what I tell myself). I definitely plan to take more courses.

Down Range-again!

I said I wasn't going to comment on a Down Range session again, but I lied. The reason? I'm commenting not on the content of the session, but the person leading the session. It's that person that keeps me returning, one of the best instructors I've ever had in anything I've ever taken. I observed him last night working with others in the class with less experience then I've now acquired and realized I'm at the point I am now because of this person. This person takes people who are nervous, lacking in confidence, unsure of themselves and brings them along to the point where they're thoroughly believing in themselves when they leave. This person is in a serious business and handles it with the utmost professionalism. This person served his country and now serves the community in which he lives, one must admire that. Thank you Noell Bishop, you're truly a class act!!!

Awesome Ladies only hangun 101 course

I took this course because I'm interested in buying a handgun one day and want to learn how to use one before purchasing it. I took this ladies only course and knew when I got in there that it was a divine hookup. I was driving and said, whew, I really miss playing tennis but I just moved to AL and have to find people to play with. How about when I get to the course, Noel's wife, Kelly tells asked me if I was with the tennis team bc I was sitting alone and she was trying to see if I wanted to sit with her or a teammate. I told her that I was there solo but saw the divine hookup. I enjoyed each trainer and they taught the proper grips, understanding sight and ammunition. The entire team was very knowledgeable and worked as one unit. I left out of the class with a few things. I walked out ready to take another Bishop 30 Solutions course and connecting with an entire tennis team that I plan on trying to find at HTC. I'm so grateful that I rescheduled the June course to take this course to meet all the beautiful women that were in this class. If you are looking for a hand gun training to take, I encourage any woman or man to sign up to Noe's course bc it was truly empowering. I felt so empowered after leaving the course and I was a bit scared upon taking it bc I have not really been exposed to guns much. Continue to do what you do Noel, Kelly, Jim and Mike. Self Defense

I have now taken 2 courses from Bishop 30 Solutions. Both have been excellently presented and the level of instruction is very high. The self defense course is a very good introduction to personal self defense and gives many helpful techniques to help a person survive or escape a physical encounter. I probably won't comment on taking the Down Range hour again, for the sake of getting repetitive. However all I can say is this...my wife and I signed up for Down Range last Saturday. Intro to Radio Communications

I knew absolutely nothing when it comes to radios, figuring not as easy to use as a cell phone, but perhaps more reliable should phones, and/or cell towers fail. I had watched videos online trying to learn more, then saw this class. This class provided exactly what I was hoping for...the ability to have an understanding of what I would need to become involved in the use of ham radios. We learned about radio frequencies, how they work, what they provide you and what you can expect based on how deep you want to invest in time and money. Great introductory class for answering all the questions I had and Jason was a very attentive to all our questions and provided the level of detail we could all understand. I'm finding that Bishop 30 Solutions is a one-stop shop for all your preparation needs should that bad day ever come! Thanks guys!

Down Range

So today I attended the Down Range session. This is a 1-hour session that allows you to practice what you've learned in prior classes provided by Bishop 30 Solutions. This session was supervised by Mike and Jim to former military patriots and it was an honor to work with them. They provided constant tips to hone our skills, noting every little thing that might give you an edge in a potential threatening situation. A well spent $25. for top notch instruction and we were shooting for the whole hour. Thanks guys!!!

Tactical Carbine 1

If you own a firearm...pistol, or rifle, and you have not been properly trained in its use, you are doing yourself a great disservice. I hadn't realized how true that thought was until I started by training with Noell and his team at Bishop 30 Solutions. I studied videos online for a couple of years and sought out where I could go to get that type of training, not realizing that a highly professional provider of such training was right here in Huntsville! After taking Conceal Carry Range, Advanced Pistol 1 & 2, Stop the Bleed, I ventured into rifle training with Tactical Carbine 1, another of many offerings from Bishop 30 Solutions. As a long time martial artist and martial arts instructor, I understood the value of training. So once again Noell and Jim did not fail the participants of the Tactical Carbine class. Zeroing in your rifle is a vital component if you are going to rely on that weapon to one day save your life. The classroom, then range experience of this class tackled that and so many more tactical uses of your weapon. As always safety, muscle memory and attention of complete detail is paramount. Going to the range and standing there peppering a paper target can be fun, but if you really want to know how to apply your firearm in a real life scenario you'll not be disappointed with the training you'll receive from these folks!!! Great well rounded training

This is some what of a longterm review of the majority of the firearms related classes offered by Bishop 30 solutions and stop the bleed. In the past 10 months I have taken tactical carbine 1&2, stop the bleed, concealed carry range, low light pistol and advanced pistol 1&2. Safety is paramount in all of Noell's classes. He and his instructors watch intently and correct any unsafe behaviour firmly but politely. The tactical carbine course included a class room portion to explain a few mechanics of AR15s, although they are America's rifle they are very poorly understood by a great many shooters. The down range portion of all the classes is always solid, proven techniques taught by instructors who have used them in real world scenarios. They take into account differnces in body type, hand size and manual dexterity to show several methods of accomplishing the same goal. This allows you to find the method that works best for you. When a student is having trouble grasping a concept Noell or one of his assistant instructors will stop the class to work one on one with the student. I cannot reccomend them enough. And will continue to take classes with Bishop 30 to refine and hone my skills.

Advanced Pistol 2

A very challenging class to say the least. Noell introduces practical concept exercises and continues to build on the previous exercise as the class evolves. Amazing how you can be learning and building your skillset with a firearm and yet have so much fun. Had some great classmates in this session too, and talked with someone who actually repeats some of the classes and I like that idea, realizing this might be one I will repeat again after some practice. One of the best investments I've ever made in myself and for my family. Thanks once again Noell.

This was a very informative class and I learned a lot about the legal system, in case I would need them. The video simulation scenarios were a good tool to know what to do in certain situations, but most helpful was Noell acting as the 911 operator.

This was a small class and the personal instruction was as always outstanding. Noell, Mike and Jim as usual were on top their game, paying close attention to details and assisting how to make the necessary corrections. Emphasis on safely moving while shooting, when and when not to make magazine changes, defending others, utilizing cover, changing from strong to weak hand and at the same time changing from dominant eye to opposite eye when necessary. Stop the Bleed

Noell tackled this class by himself. Stop the Bleed is a nationally recognized program for everyday citizens. It enables one to provide initial response to a trauma victim before help arrives and slow or stop massive wounds in which the victim could quickly bleed out. The use and hands on application of tourniquets and packing and applying pressure to gaping wounds again to prevent massive bleeding of a potential victims. Noell's presentation style provides a relaxed yet detailed method for performing these hopefully lifesaving techniques.

I attended the Concealed Carry Range class and really enjoyed it. The class focuses on skills a person with a concealed carry permit would need in a defensive situation. Methodical and Professional

Very happy with the 4 hr Concealed Carry Range class by Bishop 30. First, Noel and Kelly conduct all training with safety first in mind. Took the 4 hour ham prep and initially questioned if 4 hours was really necessary. I can now say yes. 4 hours is needed to cover that much material! Very knowledgeable instructor. Priceless Training

Wow, outstanding training and lots of information to learn and to apply once you own a fire arm. Like they said, 99.9 % of the people with carry weapons do not know the real concealed fire arms. CCW Virtual Training

Even though I have had a CCW permit for many years, the tragic and senseless shootings that have occurred in the recent past made me realize that 1) my chances of being involved in a defensive shooting episode had increased dramatically and 2) I really didn’t know jack about my legal liabilities and responsibilities if that happened. I decided to take the virtual CCW course to see if I could get answers to at least some of my questions. The class not only did that, but answered some I didn’t know I had and made me realize that I needed to know more. Carrying a gun is easy; knowing when and how to use it responsibly and legally is a whole different level. I would go so far as to say that, if you carry a gun to exercise your rights as a citizen of the United States and don’t get training on how to do so responsibly and conscientiously, you are giving the anti-gun people ammunition to shoot down those rights. This Virtual CCW class was toward gaining that knowledge. I have already signed up for their CCW Range course and will likely take others to continue my education as a gun owner and knowledgeable CCW carrier. Great job Noel, Kelly and Greg! Keep up the good work, please.

On 20 Oct 2019, I took the Bishop30 "Concealed Carry Range" Course. I learned, and had the opportunity to actually execute on the range, many personal protection techniques I had not previously learned in the USMC (I should say here that I retired almost 35 years ago). For each technique the class first watched, the dry-fired, then live fired (twice) ourselves. I learned that just because I might have some background with firearms from previous experience, this didn't automatically qualify me to carry today with professional level capability. I very highly recommend Bishop30 Solutions to anyone looking to be more comfortable with their own personal protection capabilities.

Conceal Carry Range Ladies - Awesome class!

Awesome class, Noell is so thorough and helps make you feel comfortable. He is very attentive to safety, which is especially good for someone like me who is extremely new to handling firearms. I’d only fired a handgun (and rifle) one time with the help of my Marine brother before this class. I am by no means a marksman. I think my target speaks for the class. I looked up the course and decided to take it. It was well worth my time. Mr. Bishop covered several skill sets that would be useful if ever needed. He emphasized safety throughout the class and during exercises. Mr. Bishop created a relaxed, but disciplined environment. It reminded me of some martial arts classes I took years ago. He gave positive feedback and his critique was always positive and helped develop the technique. He demonstrated various approaches to the techniques. I am planning on taking additional classes from Mr. Bishop in the future and I have suggested to my wife to sign up for his classes. Great experience overall and I highly recommend his classes if you are serious about learning.

I took my 16 year old daughter to the self defense course. I have been looking for a course like this for several years as I have 2 daughters. I was, also, interested for myself as well. Great class for beginners and even as a refresher...there's no such thing as too much training or information. I took the class after a hand injury forced me to shoot with my other hand; I learned so many new things and with the on-on-one instruction, I was able to return to my dominate hand.
