Richard works wonders. His solution focused approach to therapy is unlike anything I’ve had before. He asks the hard questions and gets astounding results by being so very good at what he does. The hypnotherapy aspect is really great as it taps into parts of your neuro-programming that you don’t even realise are there! I fully recommend Polestar Hynotherapy!!

I am posting this review after an 8 hour sleep last night! When I first started my sessions with Richard I hadn’t had a proper sleep for 2 years. My anxiety was also through the roof. Richard has helped me confront my issues and given me the courage to deal with them head on. I now have little or no anxiety and I have quality sleep. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Richard saved me. I was in a very dark place with the feeling of no escape due to stress of day to day life / running a fast-growing business over the past few years. It is an understatement to say that I was nervous about using hypnotherapy, I was concerned about what people would say if they knew, I wasn’t sure if it was for me, I wasn’t completely aware of what it really was and as an anxious person it was very difficult for me to reach out. Richard at Polestar has been a godsend, from our very first interaction I can say that he put me at ease, I felt no pressure, I felt I could ask any questions I needed to and that I was in safe hands.
Throughout our sessions Richard’s professionalism and compassion has helped me achieve more than what I originally thought I wanted, I started a weight loss journey and was feeling frustrated, stressed and anxious, having Richard’s support and guidance has got me over the obstacles of such a journey and I’ve ended up with so much more moving forward.

After a few rough years taking into consideration the pandemic, the menopause and lifes ups and downs, I’d not been feeling my best, nothing major yet still debilitating but felt I didn’t need counselling, after all I’d not had any trauma. Then along came Polestar Hypnotherapy and now I’m more confident, content and constantly planning new adventures. I feel like I’ve put myself through a service, we look after our cars so why not ourselves?
His sessions were very professional asking firm questions in a gentle manner as he focused on solutions not the problems, being unintrusive whilst delivering powerful results.
