Oct 13 -3/4 snowing and windy at times. Was a teeth chattering experience. The first time I fished the Bow and the first time with Joe. I have gone with lots of guides in many different places but Joe is definitely my favourite. Excellent knowledge, really understands the river and a hell of a guy to chat up and have a laugh with. I will be coming back and he can count on me being a future client. I highly recommend him as a guide for anyone who loves to fish. Even if it is snowing.
Cheers thanks joe
Joe is the best guide on the Bow. I have fished the Bow for more than 30 years with many guides and Joe is by far the best guide I have fished with. Great lunches, knowledge and enthusiasm. You will always have a wonderful day with Joe.
one day on the Bow River with Joe, I was hooked on fly-fishing. His
personality, knowledge, and overall professionalism makes this trip one to
remember. Anyone who takes a day with Joe on the river is bound to not only
have a wonderful experience but also learn something new about fly-fishing and
themselves in the process.
On the stone fly hatch and we took a left on his side channel you
told me to get ready there's a pig at the top behind the eddie. I casted and
BOOM a 24 inch rainbow came up and chowed on that fly! Fight on! You rowed into
the side, we netted it! Then you said all right mate get ready just as we leave
on the big rock on the left there's another pig. I casted out the same stone fly and up comes another big brown
trout. Oh my god I'll never forget that day. Michael
