I had a great time at T&T carnival! Mickisha868 Travels did a great job organizing the fete list, hotel accommodations, transportation and more. I was also able to meet some really great people in the travel group as well. Keep it up Mickisha!!!
My experience with Mickisha868 Travel was great!! From the transportation to the fetes to making sure your costume is correct. Mickisha provides great services. I would definitely use Mickisha868 Travel again.
If you are planning on going to Trinidad Carnival, I would highly recommend Mickisha868 Travels. I had an AMAZING time with my best friend and would finitely go back to Trinidad. Trinidad Carnival had been on my bucket list for a couple of years and I'm glad I chose Mickisha868 for delivering an awesome experience. The fetes, the food, the vibes was great. It is to date one of my best experiences and I have to say a big thanks to Mickisha. When I decided I was going to go to Trinidad, I thought about doing it myself and realized it was a bit much dealing with committee members, accommodation etc. I didn't worry about my safety, transportation, accommodation, or fetes because of how great Mickisha was with communicating with us. If I had any questions or request for additional fetes, she was there to help. She made sure we were okay by always checking in on us and asking us for feedback. When you travel, that's the level of commitment you want to see with your organizer. Trinidad Carnival was expensive, however, because of this travel group, it was really worth it. :)
Finally managed cross Trinidad Carnival off my bucket list thanks to Mickisha868 Travels. I’m appreciative of the attention and care Mickisha put into everything – from tailoring our packages to suit to ensuring that we’d landed safely and made it through immigration. Even when things didn’t go according to plan with 3rd party vendors, Mickisha showed persistence in getting them rectified as soon as possible which is what you need from a travel group organiser. Aside from the service received from Mickisha868 Travels, I’m grateful for the friendships formed on this trip, friendships that would have never been formed if I had decided to go it alone.
In short, I’m extremely pleased I made the decision to embark on Mickisha868 Travels’ maiden voyage. I’m sure you will be too :-D.
My first Trinidad carnival experience was a success thanks to Mickisha. She was very accommodating and personable throughout the entire process. She was very thoughtful and courteous to any concerns we had. Using her services I was able to establish connections and friendships with people I would have never met otherwise. I would highly highly HIGHLY recommend Mickisha868 travels to anyone wanting to experience carnival for the first time.
Trinidad 2020 Carnival was one of my best trips and overall life experiences. I appreciated the new friendships that were formed with Mickisha's group. In addition to Mickisha organization, dedication, and loyalty! You will not be disappointed. Trinidad forever! Soca Forever! Roadies forever!
You have to experience Carnival w/ Mickisha868 at least once. Overall, for this to be her first time having a travel group, I think she did a wonderful job! As someone who appreciates details, I especially liked the thoughtful welcome gift in the cute bags. I was paired with two other women to make our accommodations cheaper, and I’m grateful for the new friendships with them and the remainder of the group. I felt like royalty when I got my makeup done on Carnival Monday and Tuesday, which was another part of my package. The hotel in Tobago was beautiful, and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. The performances at the Trinidad hotel was a nice warm-up to the fetes we went to afterwards. Speaking of fetes, I liked the variety of all-inclusive fetes vs drink-inclusive. I was able to snack before the drink-inclusive fetes, and I felt like that was balanced. The all-inclusive fetes had good food depending on the stations you visited. Next time I would love to keep Phuket, Soca Brainwash, Red Antz Jouvert, Am Beach and swap out the other ones for boat rides and/or breakfast/ Sunrise fetes. Mickisha organized transportation with another company, and that helped out a lot! My roomies and I did use TTRS to run errands, shop, or go to the avenue, but that was pretty cheap. We typically made friends and used the same driver, because at times the app “had no drivers.” Kisha is family oriented and from her sister helping bring costumes to her father bringing, holding and returning our excess luggage when we went to Tobago, I feel like that added to the tone of a family-oriented travel group. On the road, we looked out for one another without having to babysit anyone, and I’m happy that we were able to come together and celebrate Carnival like the adults we are. I’m pretty sure I’m forgetting something, but hopefully you get the idea! I came across Mickisha’s group when I decided to go to Carnival alone, because I got tired of waiting on my friends to go. This was my first Carnival ever, and was Trinidad of all places! This experience was unforgettable. I found Trinidad Carnival expensive, but I think it’s worth doing it again. With the pandemic shutting down everything like it has, I am just so grateful that I got to participate in this wonderful experience. Thank you again, Mickisha! I wanted to go back next year, but I think the recommendation for large gatherings is 2022. If that’s the case, then Mickisha868 will see me then. Smooches ????
