  I wanted to take a moment to share our recent experience with Mark refinancing our mortgage. Let me start off by saying this is not the first time we have worked with him, so naturally when it came time to do our mortgage again we went straight to him. All of our experiences have been positive, however this one is worth noting.
  
  In the past the transactions have been smooth, no hiccups for either of us to navigate. This transaction however there were bumps at every turn all coming from the bank we chose. There was difficulty with the secured line of credit we had and wanted to keep, the amortization period, the payment amount (we chose to increase our payments to have a shorter period), the payment date- all would be verbally agreed upon between Mark and the company, relayed to us for approval. Unfortunately when it came time to finalize and sign documents a piece of information would be incorrect. Each time Mark promptly took care of it- speaking with the company until we finally had all of the information (dates, amounts etc. correct). It was frustrating for us, however knowing that Mark was handling it removed much of the stress and frustration from the transaction from us.

  Mark was fantastic to work with. He took the time to make sure that I understood all of the fun little financing terms and helped me look for what met more of my needs. He also helped me look into and apply for the new first time home buyers incentive program, which helped considerably.   My hubby and I were first time home buyers and I am so thankful that I was refferred to Mark by a coworker. Mark is incredibly knowledgable, efficient, diligent, friendly and made things easy to understand.   We called Mark when our mortgage was up for renewal. Having a lot of equity in the house we felt we weren’t being given a good enough rate. Once mark gave us quotes we realized we were right. Paperwork was signed and that’s when the customer service got even better. Lender made a small error, which can happen, and when we caught it within 1 day Mark had it solved. Was nervous about using a broker, but will definitely be using mark going forward, and would recommend him to any of my friends and family.
