Miss.Lena is an excellent musician and a great teacher. My daughter has been taking Guitar lessons with her past year and half. Miss.Lena has excellent skills both as a musician and as a motivating teacher. She conducts frequent recitals at public venues that offer excellent opportunity for students to build their confidence and showcase their skills. I highly recommend Miss. Lena as a teacher for Guitar, Piano and Voice.
My 16 year old daughter has been taking voice and then guitar lessons with Lena for 5 years and she has been amazing. My daughter has learned so much from her. She is always very kind and professional. She allows her students the opportunity to show their skills in front of a crowd at showcases which helps the students learn how to perform in front of a crowd. We absolutely would recommend her.
Both my children currently attend lessons with Ms. Lena at Sky Music Instruction. My older one has attended for a few years and we couldn’t be happier and more satisfied with all the progress he’s made through his years learning to play guitar, both acoustic and electric.
Ms. Lena’s approach to teaching is structured, but at the same time she lets the students explore and go through their preferences and likes regarding music while learning. This allows students to be more engaged and motivated during class and at home when practicing. She also cares about her students and encourages them to excel and reach their goals and dreams. She even puts together a showcase for her students to participate with real live audience! It couldn’t get any better than that!! I highly recommend Ms. Lena and Sky Music Instruction for guitar, piano and voice lessons!

Lena at Sky Music is just amazing. Her energy, vast musical knowledge, and love for teaching are attributes that make her an effective instructor. My son Bui has been taking voice and piano lessons for 2 years now, started in-person, then, continued virtually. Lena is a warm, jolly, engaging, and most importantly, very patient teacher. She caters the lessons to match my son's current song interest. As the student's parent, listening to my son continuously practice his favorite songs is the best part of the week for me.

My daughters ( 12 and 15yrs)) love taking voice lessons from Lena. They both look forward to going each week. She challenges them, but also makes it fun. She is patient and encouraging. My oldest has participated in district choirs and state choirs which Lena has helped prepare her for the auditions and performances. I highly recommend sky music!
I decided to write an updated review after roughly a year of lessons. I feel fortunate to have connected with Lena as she has exactly the balance of skills I needed for my musical goals. Having an instructor that has performed live, that understands the realities of being on a stage, and can still give you all of the detailed work needed to improve vocals, songwriting, instrumentation... I really don't think you can go wrong here. You don't have to play live to get the benefit, but finding someone who can guide you through both music and performance was not an easy search. 5/5 rating from me.

My son was a voice, ukulele, and piano lesson for for more than 2 years when I finally decided to, stop procrastinating and join him. During the past two years we have attended most of the showcases and enjoyed performances by her students. Lena has the extraordinary talent, capability, and patience of working and teaching every person in all age categories a wide variety of instruments as well as voice. Sky music also offers studio recording services. Can't be happier with my choice. Good job Lena.

Lena’s the best! She’s so talented! Not only in music, but also working with kids. Every lesson was always fun and helpful.
I can't express just how glad I am that I found Lena two years ago when my sons wanted to learn how to play the guitar. Her approach is perfect and makes them love learning and playing. They're also learning how to perform (playing and singing) on-stage, which has so many added benefits, musically and personally. I can't imagine there's a better teacher and experience around.
First lesson. She is organized, has a plan and a process, and it seems still will be able to customize to my specific goals. Great start!
