Wow! This was such an awesome experience! We not only got to explore most of Savannah in our Quest, but we also got a boat load of steps in and had a blast doing it! The riddles were definitely not too hard and our "guide" Derek was extremely helpful on one we just couldn't get. The other fun date experiences and silly pics were amazing too! Definitely doing this again! Thanks so much and huge shout out to Derek for being so helpful!
We did a team outing and we had a blast! The app is so easy to use and our event coordinator, Richard, made it easy to get started. Kelsey was our remote guide and was super fun too. I loved how everything was real time, no waiting! Thanks Operation City Quest Team - you rock!
We thought that this would be a fun day of exploring downtown Tampa but instead we literally just stayed on ONE city block and took pictures of signs and animals. This may have been better if we had a map in the app to see points of where to go but it was extremely disappointing. We did it for 30 minutes and then stopped due to the disappointment.
Not a scavenger. if you want to just follow directions and take pictures of random objects then this is for you. But if you are looking for a challenge that involves solving clues you need to go elsewhere. so disappointed. we quit after the 3rd clue.
So much fun! Highly recommend. We had a BLAST!! Richard was the BEST!! Loved walking around Harrisburg, PA looking for the items. You definitely have to have a group of people willing to do silly things for points.
This is not a good way to see a city unless you are just looking to take pictures of squirrels and random statues. I've done other city scavenger hunts that would much more enjoyable and easier to start the hunt instead signing in under a website and then having to download an app before you can even begin. Then having your assist on your hunt be insulting via text message. I would say do not waste your money or time!
We were uncertain as to what to expect, but after we got our momentum going we got very competitive and in the end we thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and had a load of fun! Recommend this activity if you like to laugh and find out about the city you are in! Thanks for the great memories!
Amber was amazing! Definitely and "at your own pace" and "get out what you put in" type of thing....We had an amazing time, it's more fun if you make it a competition......We are number 1 in indianapolis.....boom!!
We had a blast trolling the streets and enjoying our time bonding as a team. I would totally recommend this for a team building event! Richard our guide was awesome, giving us special task to complete for extra points. #myteamrocks #teamconvergys #TA4life
We had so much fun exploring our city to find clues and take photos. We met some nice people along the way when we asked to take photos involving them, like the handsome firemen! I would do this again and recommend it as a fun activity.
What a fun date! Thanks Richard our guide for pushing us out of our comfort zones and into having a good laugh. We loved walking around downtown with a purpose and seeing the things that have always been there...but this time we actually saw them!
We had friends in from out of town and really enjoyed showing Winston Salem off to them! Operation City Quest kept us running around downtown having a great time! Our guide Richard was super fun! I'd definitely do this again sometime :)
We played Operation City Quest in our home town of Lansing. Our guide Amber was very helpful and informative. I would definitely play again in other cities it was so much fun running around all day doing quests until we on top!
This was a lot of fun!! We walked ALL over downtown Grand Rapids. Our guide Richard was very helpful, informative and gave us additional creative tasks to do to earn more points. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique activity for family or group of friends.
What a fun way to explore the city! Amber was a great guide, sending us little texts of encouragement, while still letting us work at our own pace :-)
We will definitely do this again, and maybe the next time, we'll bring the kids!
The group had fun spending time together. The negative, we had a groupon for 6 but only 1 person had access to the clues and had to read them to the group, a ripoff of buying a groupon for 6. The majority of the clues are not city specific, maybe 10. Save your money and use Google to create your own scavenger hunt.
A lot of fun and very easy to use! Kathy, our guide, was great - very helpful and there whenever we needed her! My one (and only) complaint or suggestion is I do wish OCQ was more custom to each city. There were 10 main "finds" custom to Philly which was great but the rest were General to any city. For example lizard was on the search but not horses (horse drawn carriages are around Philly). Or soft pretzels, cheese steaks would have been more fun than the general "italian" "fast food" etc. But overall really fun and great value!
Even though it was 100+ degrees outside we had fun with the Wichita City Adventure. We did most of it walking-last 20 minutes in the car when we got hot and tired. Thanks for being a good guide Richard!
We had such a great time and it was a phenomenal way to explore the city with my son. We couldn't be more pleased with the program or with our guide Amber!!! Can't wait to try this out in other cities!!!!!
This was such a fun scavenger hunt! There are lots of things to find. Some are specific landmarks, some are more common items like signs etc.- bottom line is your never "stuck". My favorite thing though was becoming more familiar with downtown Shreveport, I had no idea it was so extensive or that there were so many things to do. Our guide, Gale, was wonderful. Helpful, funny and super nice she made our game even better!! We will probably end up doing this again just bc it rained and we weren't able to find as many items as we wanted, which was all of them! Or at least most of them!
I received this as a birthday present and was more than pleased! From start to finish we had a great time exploring our hometown and discovering new things! Gale was able to help us even though we started the game with 10 minutes to spare before they closed! We will definitely play again and hope to play all over the country!
What a great afternoon! Being silly and posing for photos, solving quiz questions, and we went all over our Richmond historic downtown, lived here 20+ years and went places I haven't seen. The smart phone app was easy to use, and our online guide was supportive when we needed it!
I truly enjoyed myself with finding the different things around downtown!! I'm not an outdoors person but I was excited to see the things I never knew about Winston Salem and I'm from there. Richard was an amazing tour guide and he watched our crazy videos and photos lol!! I'm definitely going to do it again and bring more friends next time!! Thanks for the awesome time !
Had a great day exploring downtown Augusta through Operation City Quest. We went on a digital scavenger hunt throughout downtown where we had to identify different statues and other landmarks in the area by taking pictures and submitting them through an app. Was a great family activity.
This was a blast! I was given this city quest for Nashville for Christmas last year and just now got to use it while my sister was visiting from Delaware. I'm moving back north next week to home (Delaware) and this was a great way to spend part of my last few days! Kathy was our guide and she was wonderful!
Had an awesome time in Pittsburgh yesterday!! Had a large group, over 40 people and 8 different teams. Our guide Mike was great especially dealing with so many of us. Shout out to Amber too for all the help getting it set up and patiently answering all my emails. Would definitely do it again and recommend it for all ages.
I had friends come in from out of town for my birthday and wanted to show them around my city. Operation City Quest turned out to be a great way to do just that! We had a great time! Our guide Zenna was awesome! She made it easy to begin the game and stayed involved throughout her time with us. The app is user friendly and very straightforward. I would definitely do it again. I was pleasantly surprised at how much fun we had considering I wasn't entirely familiar with the concept. Thumbs up for OCQ!
Went with five families for my son's eleventh birthday and split into two teams--girls vs boys. WHAT A FUN DAY!!!! Everyone from parents to kids had a BLAST hunting through NYC, finding clues and taking silly pictures and videos to earn our points! Our tour guide, Amber, kept us motivated via text and we loved competing in this laugh-filled, step-filled (12,000 steps in two hours!), family-fun-filled day!!! Definitely will do this again in NYC or any other city we visit!!!!
Called them to to try and schedule a tour and was rudely interrupted with any question I asked, by Amber, as if they already knew the answer to my question. Then when I asked to speak to a supervisor, Mike, he said to me he would not let me talk 'bad about his employees and hung up on me. What a terrible way to run a business and treat prospective customers.
I'm giving this company A1 star rating due to their poor customer service .I just heard a recording of a conversation where the owner Mike told the lady calling in to be gone after she politely turn down his services.
Did the City Quest in Atlantic City with my boyfriend on Easter Sunday, SO FUN! We definitely got our steps in and really enjoyed finding all the things and taking funny pictures. Our guide Mike was helpful and added to the experience, don't forget to go for the challenges!
