Tamsin is amazing and I highly recommend her. She breaks behaviours and training down into something any one would understand. She has taken away any shame or guilt I have had previously for having a socially anxious dog and helped me find the right path for both the both of us.
As first time dog owners, Tamsin has been incredible. WE quickly realised she is training us rather than the puppy and she has been guiding us every step of the way. We can't imagine making the journey without her. For every challenge she has tons of practical idea, hints and tips - and much needed reassurance at times. We would ( and do) recommend Tamsin to anyone.
I have been working with Tamsin for a few months now with my English Springer Spaniel pup Maisie. She’s still a pup and I am disabled, so wanted to start good habits early.
My main priority as a wheelchair user was having a dog that would walk nicely alongside my chair. Mission accomplished! ✅ In fact it was almost embarrassing how quickly Tamsin got that sorted 🤣
She never makes me feel silly, is always supportive and kind and my dog loves her.

Tamsin is a miracle worker! The knowledge she gave the first time meeting her made such a difference with Rodger and in the few months we have been working with Tamsin Rodger is(almost) a different dog, his reactivity has lessened so much, we can walk past other dogs now!Our walks our calmer our house is calmer!! We can't recommend Tamsin enough! Our spaniel used to get completely overwhelmed and overstimulated in busy or unfamiliar places, and even having people over would send him into a spiral. But thanks to Tamsin’s patience and incredible understanding of Benny’s crazy mind, he’s made an unbelievable transformation—he’s like a different dog! We met with Tamsin last may with our spaniel Rhu.
I’m a vet nurse, and noticed behaviours in Rhu which were out of my expertise. We thought we were doing everything right by Rhu , when in fact we were doing to much ! Something I never thought of !
Tamsin immediately saw what we couldn’t and understood Rhu and her spaniel brain. We then changed every part of rhus training and home schedule. 6 months later we have a dog that is able to cope with every day stress , able to settle and REST! ( I never thought this is would be a word I would use to describe rhu), walk on a lead and not pull like a steam train ! Just to name a few .
The change I’ve seen in rhu is a much happier dog , using her spaniel instinct incorporated with training techniques from Tamsin.
Everything Tamsin has been able to give us and continues to has been life changing .

I would highly recommend Tamsin, she helped us so much with our rescue dog Bruce. Tamsin really focused on both ourselves and Bruce and really helped me with my confidence in walking Bruce.
Since we had our sessions with Tamsin Bruce is so much more relaxed and walking him is much more pleasurable. Bruce is also much less reactive indoors, although this is still a work in progress.
I can’t thank Tamsin enough for helping us so much with Bruce and would encourage anyone who feels they need help with their dog to get in touch with her.
Tasmin absolutely changed our lives with our Daxie Bonnie. We stepped into training sceptical as to whether anything could be done to help her reactivity or whether we had left it too late. The moment we met Tasmin I was filled with reassurance that we could work to make Bon her best happy self by understanding why she presents these behaviours that we were so worried about. Every time we had a session we came away with knowledge and a plan on what we could do and work towards to build her confidence around other dogs and people. Tasmin was always on the end of the phone between sessions if we ever had any questions which was invaluable to us!
Fast forward not much time at all, we can now walk around a town without reactions and Bon knows what to do to show us when she is uncomfortable so that we can recognise this and help her. My only regret is that we didn’t reach out to Tasmin sooner. This really has changed our every day lives and made the whole house calmer and much more enjoyable to go on walks together.

Tamsin is incredible. We’ve only used her for a few sessions, and already we’re so so pleased with how things are going. We’ve been taking our pup to see Tamsin for agility, which he LOVES. And now we’re seeing her also about behavioural/reactivity issues that we are experiencing, and again, she’s been incredible with Maui (& us). So patient and friendly! Couldn’t recommend enough! X
Within 10 minutes Tamsin had our dog's measure - an overwrought, anxious and unsociable lockdown rescue sprocker, we were pulling our hair out with her! We now have a dog who listens, is calmer, happier, more sociable and who is quite frankly like a different dog. I highly recommend Tamsin if you need some help with your dog, she works wonders!
I have a rescue called marko who was guarding me from the rest of the family and growling at them when the came into the room I contacted tasmin to help. We have had 2 sessions where tasmin showed us how to mange it and amazingly marko was so much better. It's work in progress but I know now what to do and so do the rest of the family.
I can't recommend tasmin enough she is so knowledgeable and good with dogs. I will certainly be calling on tasmin if we need more help she's amazing
Myself and our Vizsla Poppy have just finished several 1-1 sessions with Tamsin. Having been told on a regular basis by people, how well behaved Poppy is, it came as a surprise to them when I said I had contacted Tamsin. I knew there was, at times, one particular issue which to me seemed like Pops being stubborn, so for me, it was an issue, and therefore something I needed to learn along side Poppy.
After 1.5 hours consultation to begin with, Poppy’s training was stripped back to the very beginning and we had several one hour sessions.
Tamsin is friendly, approachable and down to earth which suits me and Pops perfectly. She explained each point during the session and why, giving me the full picture and therefore a better understanding of techniques and reasoning.
Poppy is now much better, and of course, I am still using the techniques to reinforce and encourage the desired behaviour from her. Tamsin encouraged me to contact her with any queries or issues between sessions, and also now that those sessions have finished. It was Tamsin’s decision that Poppy had now had enough of the training, that in my eyes is a huge positive.
I would highly recommend Tamsin if anyone has any concerns or anything about your dog.

We have worked with Tamsin now for over 2 years and we would be lost without her! Our more recent journey with her has been into the world of agility and it's given our pup so much confidence and enjoyment that I cannot thank Tamsin enough. As first time furry parents we have learnt so much with Tamsin, her understanding and professionalism in both animal behaviours and agility training is second to none.
I cannot recommend Tamsin enough!! I reached out to Tamsin off the recommendations from other dog owners in order to get some help with my reactive rescue dog, Rosie and instantly Tamsin was communicative and understanding of our situation. We booked in a session and we were instantly put at ease with Tamsin's knowledge and calm demeanour. She listened to us and explained the behaviours that our dog was showing. We had 5 sessions with her but even after 1 session, our dog was so much better. We are much less anxious and so is our dog Rosie. Thank you so much for everything Tamsin. It's so good to know we can also just call if we need her or book in a session when and if we need it xx
We started working with Tamsin from Positive Canine Behaviour last year.
Tamsin has helped me understand why Flo reacts as she does (did!) when we are out. I am much calmer and confident and now enjoy walking with Flo, when before it made me nervous - to the point where I would actively avoid it. I now have a range of strategies that make Flo, and me, much calmer, and our walks a pleasure.
I cannot recommend her highly enough.
