Stephanie has consistently shown her gifted ability in both performances and teaching. She efficiently combines custom practices for each unique student whilst still sticking with a extremely high standard. Her classes are always something that I look forward to; Stephanie is full of character during classes and her tutees are always the first thing on her mind when she makes decisions. She also provides flexible schedules. (which on my case is the time difference between England and hongkong) Overall, if you are looking for quick progress but deep understanding or anything within this spectrum, Stephanie is among the best of teachers.

Ms. Fung has been our son's piano tutor for 5 years. She teaches not just piano, but music and more.
Learning piano, with long feedback loop on short term oriented kids, is challenging over time. However with Ms. Fung our son Michael never had that I-will-never-touch-piano-again moment, right on the contrary he said playing piano sometimes lifts up his spirit. He enjoys the daily piano time, often volunteers to play longer, and searches for Beethoven & Tchaikovsky online on his own. As we hoped, learning piano from Ms. Fung opened the door to a new world for him, while passing grades and receiving awards became a natural byproduct.
Looking back, I guess the reason is that Ms. Fung is never constrained by the thin ABRSM exam books, but really understands Michael and is capable of finding pieces from a variety of sources that suit Michael's interest, skill level, and technical practicing needs.
As a musician Ms. Fung is the kind of pianist that, when she is performing, a passerby would stop his steps next to our window, take a deep breath, and appreciate the music beyond the here and now.
In summary, as a customer satisfaction survey would ask: "on a scale of 0 to 10, how much would you recommend Ms. Fung to another parent searching for a piano tutor?" my answer is TEN.
Stephanie has been teaching my daughter since she’s 7 years old. She is now 12 years old and has achieved Grade 8 piano exam with distinction. She is not only a professional pianist but also a very amazing piano teacher. She is patient and funny. She can help my daughter understand the music by using imagination and work out easier ways to learn difficult pieces. The techniques that she teaches are detailed but easy to understand. She inspires her a lot.
Stephanie has taught my son for the past several years. He is seven and playing grade 6 pieces. Her attention to detail and ability to engage my son so as to make him a success at piano and most of all enjoy it.
