I have always admired the Piano Works, because I am a history person, and the complex certainly has history. I am an artist, and last fall I started looking into options for leasing a studio space again. Over the years, I have had several in the Rochester area. I decided to look at the Piano Works because of it's proximity to my home and I am so glad that I did. I have a beautiful studio space in the most perfect location. Minutes from almost everywhere in Rochester, right off 490, with plentiful, well lit, easily accessible parking. The landlord, Michael, is a caring, involved property owner with the happiness and success of all tenants as his top priority. The building management and in house construction team, headed by Steve of Stonewood Builders, is top notch and the quality of their work is unmatched. Maintenance is responsive, friendly and takes care of any issues quickly and effectively. Having rented space in several area locations in the past, I can say that I have never had such a feeling of community and shared vision like the one that is present at The Piano Works. The complex is full of wonderful businesses and organizations, and there is a strong positive energy and a sense of teamwork throughout the property. I feel fortunate to be part of this vibrant community and look forward with excitement to all of the growth and opportunity that constantly is evolving at this one of a kind location!
Really cool building with lots of history of music and the arts. Nice to walk around and look at the art and pictures. There are a lot of offices, noticed a dance studio, music shop, therapists, craft shops, attorneys, appliance repair, ferrari's pizza bar in the far end. There is a lot going on and a lot of potential. Photographers might like this spot. Also went to the library and found a bunch of history on the building. Lots of pictures on the walls over there too. I would check that out too.
There are multiple stores in Piano Works Mall. I only went to the Verizon store to turn in equipment. I know there's a restaurant next door. There's a Wendy's in the plaza. Other than that I have no knowledge of the place
We celebrated our 30 year East Rochester Class Reunion at Piano Works. The rooftop venue was fantastic!! I highly recommend anyone check this venue out if your looking for something different in the Rochester area.
Bruce and his team at Bell Racquet Sports are awesome for sales and service of all your racquetball, tennis, pickle ball etc needs. Plus they have a sweet loaner racquet program. I'm a long time customer who drives across town to go there.
