Ralph is a rare gem

We were married in September of this year. A day that we will never forget, for so many reasons, it was simply perfect. I must say that having Ralph ad part of our day was quite simply the icing on the cake, he was fun, organised, energetic, personable, patient and most of all, had just the best sense of humour and fitted in with our somewhat eccentric family and friends. We are still receiving countless compliments regarding Ralph, and quite simply I couldn’t imagine our day without him. No hesitation in recommending Ralph.

Ralph helped us have the perfect wedding day!

Ralph was the toast master for our wedding in August 2019. From the start he was prompt and courteous with his replies and twice came out of his way to visit us to finalise the preparations for our big day.He is extremely thorough and really got to know the details for the day. All of his preparation paid off as he was absolutely brilliant on the day, helping to set up, organise groups for photos and guide all of our guests through the day. He even made a special effort to bring us a glass of bubbles while we were mid photo shoot and clearly looking thirsty.He really took the pressure off and helped us have the perfect wedding day. Would 100% use him again!Thanks Ralph!

An Excellent Job!

The most needed supplier for my wedding.

Ralph was by far the most needed supplier for my wedding. Never did I realise how much prep work was involved in toast mastering and I dread to think how my day would have run without him. Ralph was keen, supportive and made my day so perfect. Everything was timed and his timings were spot on. During the lead up to the wedding, I had several meet ups to make sure all my questions could be answered. I built such a rapport with Ralph that I left him in charge of making decisions on the day, should any hiccup arise. Luckily (to my knowledge) there wasn’t any. Even on the day, I had Ralph running around in the morning for me as I had forgot last minute bits and he was only too happy to help.To top it off, Ralph also is a great DJ so it was great to have him there the whole day where my guests had already bonded with him. My husband and I first met Ralph, at my brother in law wedding, where we were blown away by how incredible he was. He was a huge support to them, kept the day running smoothly and was friendly to everyone, roll on the evening and again, his disco was brilliant. We were so impressed we went from being sure we wouldn't needing a toastmaster to dexodinf Ralph would be an essential part of our day! And that's exactly what he was. From day 1 he offered advice, support and ideas. He took a real interest in us as a couple and a family. We felt totally comfortable and at ease with him, and were very impressed with his great communication skills. He kept every element of our wedding day calm, and running smoothly. He truly was amazing, and made the day what it was. All our guests were so impressed with him, and he even helped find a very drunk bridesmaids phone! He was great with all the kids, and engaged with all the professionals at the venue. We could not have pulled the day off with our Ralph and we are eternally grateful for all his hard work and effort. Thank you again Ralph, I will be recommending you to anyone and everyone who gets married in the future!

Fantastic Service, Fantastic Man!

Ralph was the consummate professional. He met with my wife, Lorraine and I on several occasions to run through wedding preparations and discuss the order of the day. It was all carried out to the finalist of details with meticulous planning. Ralph is very personable and is exceptionally easy to talk to and with. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Our wedding day couldn't have gone any smoother. Ralph is more than a toastmaster he is also a superb organiser of the day and offers a bespoke service catering for all needs and requirements. Lorraine and I were so impressed as were all our guests. Everyone said it was the best wedding the have been too and this is a true credit to Ralph and his years of expertise! I must sincerely apologise for the delay in responding to your email.

I am so glad that you and your wife enjoyed your overnight stay, and our small gesture of the fruit bowl!

It was a pleasure to work with you on Ryan and Zoe's wedding - having worked with several toastmasters before, I have not been as impressed with them as I was with you. They didn't seem to be as 'on the ball' or know exactly what was going on, inside and out.....

During the planning, my only concern was that I would normally contact all of the vendors / entertainers beforehand to touch base and check they are all ok, whereas you did this on this occasion..... However, as you had been so involved in the planning you obviously had all of their details, and as you copied me in, it was not a problem at all when any of them came back with queries....

Overall, none of the toastmasters I have worked with have been quite as involved in the planning beforehand or on the day itself, and it certainly helped to ensure that everything ran smoothly on the day.

We have just returned from our honeymoon and wanted to take the time to thank you properly for doing such a great job at our wedding. Honestly, you were just fantastic. We were both able to fully relax knowing you were there and on top of everything. So many of our guests have commented on how brilliant you were and that you were so helpful and such good fun, so thank you again for everything! It really was a pleasure having you there.

On a slightly different note.. I did hear that you were kind enough to go and get some sandwiches for one of the best men in the morning - having not been there I’m not sure of the exact details but understand you may not have been given the money for this? If you are owed any money please let us know and we will reimburse you as we don’t want you to be out of pocket at all.

I don't think the wedding would have run on time or so smoothly

Hi Ralph,

How are you? Sorry we have not got back to you sooner but we have literally just returned from our honeymoon!

We were really pleased that we used you as without your coordination and support I don't think the wedding would have run on time or so smoothly.

There were a few hick-ups such as the Dhol players going astray however, this was because of a misunderstanding with the guys themselves (who had not read their copy of the schedule) rather than anything to do with you.

All the guests thought you were superb. We liked the fact that you kept everyone in check, ensured they were in the right place at the right time. In addition to helping out with keeping suppliers updated and taking lead to ensure tasks were being actioned as per the plan.

We also liked and very much appreciated the suggestions you put forward when issues did arise. This more than met our expectations as we were did not expect this role from the toastmaster.

The commentary was apt and you kept people's attention. There was a bit of hit and miss with the pronunciations of the names for the photos, however, noting there were some very long names in the list and there were a few last minute additions, you did a good job with it.

We are grateful that you made such an effort with the research you carried out into Hindu weddings and it's culture prior to the wedding as it really showed on the day. Not to mention the time you spent with us to walk through the schedule and help us iron out issues with the last minute preparations.

Once again thank you very much for helping us prior to and on the day of the wedding. We defiantly without hesitation would and will be recommending you to all of our friends and family and passing on your details!

Sorry for the not being in contact sooner, we have been meaning to email you since returning from the honeymoon, which was fantastic thank you!

Thank you for being our toast master, you did an amazing job and made our wedding a fantastic day. We were not planning on having a toastmaster but looking back I cannot see how the day would have run without you. We have received fantastic feedback about you from our guests with many people saying that you made the day run very smoothly, without being too intrusive or loud! That is what Paul and I wanted (someone to help our day run smoothly without invading it). You even managed to save the day when the band arrived without any lights! Paul and I were very grateful for that and don't know what we would have done without you (and your lights)! We feel you went above and beyond what a toastmaster should do!

We are not just being 'polite!' but I cannot think of anyway that you can improve. You were extremely thorough, spending a long time with us before the wedding to ensure the day was how we hoped it would be. You were very efficient on the day and it ran extremely smoothly and without you having to address us all the time. Our photographer also commented on how efficient you were, especially compared to some toastmasters he has previously worked with.

Appointing you as our toastmaster was a fantastic decision and we will recommend you to anyone who is looking for a toastmaster!
