Perfect Mother-daughter trail running adventure

We asked Brittany to put together a customized four-day mother/daughter trail running adventure on the Alta Via 1 trail in the Italian Dolomites and it could not have gone more smoothly. The rifugios (especially Lavarella) were a dream, the navigation was easy to follow and we had a bag transported one night so we could swap out wet clothes for dry half way through and carry only lightweight Ultimate Adventure running packs. (It was a rainy first day so we were very glad we did this). Affordable and convenient. Highly recommend for trail runners who don't want a guide but don't have time to arrange all the logistics themselves.

As good as it gets!

We hiked hut-to-hut in the Dolomites on the 12-day relaxed itinerary….and are so glad that we did! We truly could not stop saying “Wow!” at every turn in the trail! We normally travel independently and were really pleased with the great job of planning and all of the information and tools that we needed. Strongly recommend!

Alpenventures did an exceptional job preparing me for my first time in the Alps, and I’m stoked for the experience I had thanks to them. They found a way to plan a somewhat last-minute trip for me, set me up on a route I had never heard of but absolutely LOVED (Tour des Combine) that I never would have discovered without them. Alpenventures experience, and its connections with the various potential stops on the TMB route, meant that hiking days were well-judged distances and there were great hotel or refuges at the end of the day. Access to the navigation app was particularly useful since it could be used offline.

Tour: HHT3 Tour du Mont Blanc Alternative

Trip was absolutely incredible, booking with Alpenventures made it so easy and the navigation app and tour book they provided was really helpful. The cabins you stay in on this route are incredible, and we had the best night drinking beers overlooking a glacier and watching the marmots on the hill above Cabanne Panossière. Highly recommend!

Save yourself a world of trouble!

Our 10-day hike on the Alta via 1 was unforgettable. Day after day of jaw-dropping 360s, as well as the reassurance of knowing that you were headed toward a good meal and a warm bed. We had tried to make our own arrangements for this trip in January and quickly ran into snags because of refugio's that were closed, or others that had availability at times that didn't line up with each other. Brittany and her team made it all happen and presented it to us in a useful, user-friendly package. The app was particularly great for giving us confidence and visuals for seeing what we were up against each day. Highly recommended by our group of eight.

Dolomites Alta Via 1

An incredible family adventure hiking 4 days on Alta Via 1. Everything was organised by Alpenventures Unguided and played out seamlessly. While it was a big ask for our 6 year old, with a little help along the way we completed the 50km through the Dolomites and made some amazing memories as a family.

Dolomites, the best trip ever

Amazing culinary hiking adventure!

We had an incredible experience backpacking in the Austrian Alps enjoying the beauty of the landscape but also some of the best gourmet food we have ever had at huts! Alpenventures made it possible to feel confident trekking through a lesser known area of the Alps and know our travel logistics were well in place. Wonderful Hike in Austrian Alps!

We had an amazing, wildflower-filled hike in a less traveled part of the Austrian Alps. Communication with Alpenventures was amazing from start to finish. When a giant rockslide closed the trail between our last two huts, Brittany found a way for us to get there anyway, and we woke up at our last hut to late-July snow! Great Adventure Dolomits AV1

We booked our tour to the Dolomites only two months in advance. We received a great amount of help and frequent communication with Brittany Haas so that our desires and needs were met. Adventure of a lifetime!

Hiking in the Dolomites has been a dream of ours for a long time, but we were daunted by the planning and options of setting it up ourselves. There's no way we could have planned a route as beautiful, uncrowded, and varied as the one Alpenventures set up for us, and we're so glad we found them!

All of their pre-trip guidance made us feel prepared for our trip, and the self-guided route gave us the perfect balance of independence and adventure with minimal stress or uncertainty.

The Best of the Dolomites itinerary kept us away from the crowds and has such a wonderful variety of terrain!

Cycling Bavaria

August 2022 saw my return to Bavaria for what promised to be yet another extraordinary bicycle tour in Germany. In September 2021 I cycled through some of Bavaria on Alpenventures “Bavarian Beer Tour”. We thoroughly enjoyed cycling during the day and catching a different local brew each evening. I can’t recommend this tour enough for everyone, but especially for those with a taste for fine beers. This year I returned with friends to ride the Alpenventures tour from Munich to Venice. I enjoyed the first part of the tour but I had to quit partway through the tour due to my sudden illness. My riding companions finished the tour and raved about the cycling sections I had missed! Alpenventures went out of their way to find last minute accommodations in Italy where I could convalesce and later meet up with my riding companions on the way back to Munich.
It’s a great company and I’ll soon do another tour with them.

(Another) Trip of a Lifetime

It's hard to put into words just how wonderful of a trip we just had... And all thanks to AlpenventuresUnguided. This was our second hut-to-hut experience with Brittany. Switzerland the first time and the AV1 this go-round. Though we didn't think it possible, she managed to improve the experience. The itinerary she put together was totally top notch. All details were covered. The huts she chose were absolutely wonderful, with friendly staff, tasty food, lovely amenities (We sauna-ed and hottub-ed at Scotoni!),... Brittany even arranged a birthday cake for my wife at the spectacular Averau. The huts all just went above and beyond and we loved every minute of our time in them. We also loved getting to them! The trails and scenery were more than we could have hoped for. It was a trip we will never forget. And we look forward to our next... Thank you so much!

Adventure of a lifeime on the TMB

After being delayed by COVID, we were finally able to realize our dream of hiking the TMB. The scenery was breathtaking and while the hike can be challenging at times, we were left to simply enjoy every moment as all the details (planning the segments, booking accommodations, alerting huts/hotels of dietary restrictions) were taken care of professionally by Brittany (and Ginger for the app access) at Alpenventures. I recommend using the service so you can simply enjoy!

I had an incredible time on the Alta Via 1 and have memories that I will carry with me for a long time to come. Wild adventure you won’t forget!

I did VF3 and VF1 back to back solo. It was an epic adventure and I highly recommend it if you love the outdoors and a good challenge. Definitely very tough and a little scary at times, but that’s what makes it unforgettable. The huts were a great experience with delicious food and felt very safe. No problem for English speakers. I felt Alpenventures selected the best of the Dolomites in regards to via ferrata.

Hiking in the Dolemites

I wanted to take a hiking trip on the Alpine 1 in the Dolemites on very short notice (less than 2 months). I decided to try Alpenventures to see if they could help us book rifugios on such short notice. Brittany managed to find us rifugios and hotels and planned an amazing itinerary. We received clear explanations for everything and on the hike everything went as planned. I could not have asked for better.

2022 BOT with via Ferrata (vf5)

We enjoyed the vf5 via Ferrata Bernese Oberland trek. The classic accommodations had perfect locations varying environments like family farms, high hut and exclusive balcony views. The meals were savory and satisfying. The route visited high alpine, water features and visited the towns too. The map segments in OutdoorActive were extremely appreciated and made the trip easy since the signs don't always match the route. Except the last via Ferrata was part of the trail and they were in a good order to acclimate for beginners. We had an awesome trip with awesome weather.
We rented the via Ferrata set in Interlaken from Intersport and they were awesome but we later found out that many towns on the route had the Intersport so we would not have to carry the climbing gear every day. We were told Intersport does require return to the same store but it would be nice if a rental deal was prenegotiated to avoid visiting the same town or figuring out shipping.

Fantastic Experience Hiking The TMB!

Switzerland 6 day trek

Brittany planned out a 6 day hut-to-hut trek for me in southwestern Switzerland in the Valais region. It also crossed over into Italy's Aosta region. It was a great trip with amazing views and shelters. I had perfect weather in late August, with only 1 day of rain, and that was only during the last several hours of the trek that day. I plan to do more treks via Alpenventures - I'd like to trek Switzerland more, and trek/via ferrata the Italian Dolomites. Thanks, Brittany!
