I cannot recommend the shop Julie fitzmaurice highly enough , what a fantastic team with Gini at the helm who is a perfectionist , her attention to detail comes from years of experience . It was a wonderful experience choosing my dress and coat as mother of the groom , with wonderful fabrics in all colours to choose from , it was such fun picking out the perfect combination. There is an extremely high standard of workmanship and a great team of very artistic people , I am absolutely thrilled with my outfit and cannot praise everyone highly enough for creating the perfect outfit for me , it is exactly what I was looking for !

Superb all round shopping experience

I found the shop purely by chance on the internet and sent an e-mail late one evening, which was responded to early the following day. An appointment was made. We arrived to be warmly greeted by Debbie and tea and coffee. Debbie was very attentive but not intrusive. She guessed my size immediately and suggested an alternative colour to my original choice for my Mother of the Groom outfit and she was absolutley spot on with her suggestion. The dress and coat were a perfect fit, with one alteration of the dress needing the sleeves shortening, which was my personal preference. The alterations were completed during the week and we collected the outfit the following week. Debbie was absolutely fantastic and I couldn't recommend highly enough.

I am the Grandmother of the bride and have struggled to find a suitable outfit for the wedding. On a casual visit to Harrogate we discovered the Julie Fitzmaurice shop and what a revelation. From the moment on entering the shop we were treated royally and nothing was too much trouble and a wonderful ambience was throughout the shop plus a vast array of fabulous clothes and accessories to suit every taste and size for any lady wanting to look the proverbial "million dollars". Despite the awkwardness caused by Covid, the staff of this shop gave me a wonderful experience of their superb service. I felt really safe. I would highly recommend Gini, Debbie and the team. We were lucky enough to see our daughter married, the day before lockdown in March. I was in a panic in February, with no outfit. I bought one on the high Street, which I then returned, as I didn't feel it was special enough. Shortly after that I discovered JM and never looked back! They made me a beautiful wool suit and paired it with a gorgeous pink blouse. I was delighted with the results! They were extremely professional and turned it around in a short time frame. I would highly recommend them for any occasion. They could make you a dress, coat, suit, jacket. - - - - just anything!

We come every year to the Country Living Fair from Lincolnshire - we always admire the clothing in the window and like to come in and treat ourselves to some gorgeous pieces. When in Harrogate I asked where to look for something to wear to my son's civil wedding, and was advised to try Julie Fitzmaurice. I had already spent considerable time looking without success. Gini Palm and her staff were wonderful. I not only found a suitable dress, but they took the time to make additions to the hat/fascinator to make it a better match - despite it taking them to after closing time on a Saturday. The store has a great range of outfits, so although I live two hours away, next time I require an outfit I will start at Julie Fitzmaurice, and will probably go home happy

Whilst in Harrogate I asked where I should be able to buy a dress for my son's civil wedding, and was directed to Julie Fitzmaurice. I originally came to Julie Fitzmaurice for a wedding outfit 4 years ago which I still wear on special occasions as I struggle to use the high street to get items that fit properly, so the service Julie Fitzmaurice offer fitted me perfectly- literally!
