This company really helped me figure out my Medicare options, the government always finds a way to make even the simplest of choices confusing. Troy started reaching out to me three months before my 65th birthday. What I LOVED the most and the reason I chose to get assistance from Troy was in his introduction email, he simply gave his name and offered assistance if and when I needed it. Troy Baccus is excellent and I highly recommend him. A friend of mine who had used Troy for Medicare advice and found him to be exceptionally useful referred me to him. I didn't know that I would need an expert for advice until I started researching the various decisions I needed to make about Medicare and supplemental insurance as I neared 65. However, it became clear that there are numerous traps that one can fall into that can have significant adverse consequences. Medicare Life Group is an excellent choice for all your insurance needs! I have been with them for two years and cannot say enough good things about this firm. Troy Bacchus, and his staff, are true professionals; they listen to the customers and are able to make recommendations as to the best plan for your specific needs. He and his staff are well versed and familiar with the latest Medicare rules as well as specific details of each plan.

My most recent personal experience involves a particular drug (prescribed by my cardiologist) and was informed the cost would now be $524! That is ridiculous especially since I just retired and am a fixed income – what to do? Need the drug so only choice is to purchase out of the country or without using the drug plan, I pay for each month. When discussed with Troy Bacchus, he suggested submitting a Tier exception form. After he explained the process, sent me the form and conversed with the doctor’s office, the tier exception (never heard about this before) was approved, thereby saving me a lot of money for this pill over the course of the year.

Besides this cost savings, Troy Bacchus knows about as much about generic equivalents as the doctors office and he is the best – not your typical 9 to 5, Monday thru Friday person; very responsive as is his staff.

I somewhat skeptically and gingerly replied to an "ad" about Medicare supplement options 6 months before I needed them, ready to bail at any time. I usually handle these things on my own and was just in an exploratory phase. I can't say enough about the Medicare Life Group. They made what appeared to be a complex decision about medicare supplements and drug plans fairly straight forward and because I wasn't dealing directly with an insurance company, they were not selling me any particular product but only recommending the best product out there to suit my particular needs. The same commission is paid by everyone whether one uses a private resource like Medicare Life Group or an insurance company directly. If you use an insurance company directly, their own agents internally make the same commission and they are pushing the particular ins co products. I highly recommend Medicare Life Group for objective solid advice.
