ELEGANT FIRES AND DESIGN carried out work at my property, firstly a log burning stove and surround in one room and a further new installation in another room. Both fires were fitted expertly, quickly and to a very high standard indeed. The items used were of high quality and there was good communication throughout. The work area was left clean after each days work and all the excess rubble/packaging and other items was removed at the end of each working day. I would recommend Phil and his team without question. Overall a high quality service, with a high quality product fitted in a timely manner with no fuss at all for a good price!

This is the second wood burner that Phil has installed for us. It's gorgeous and with a fab limestone surround, all specially fitted. Phil really knows what he's doing and he's such a lovely bloke. Happy for you to come and see our fires, we think they're so great.

Phil from Elegant Fires and Design could not have been more helpful. Our wood-burning stove was installed during the replacement of our damp proof course. Phil started the job the day I called him to ensure the old fire place was knocked out for the plasterers, and made sure important wiring was properly installed under the granite. The fire and fireplace look great, and I know it's all been done safely.

​If you are thinking of getting a wood burner,I would totally recommend it! Getting in on a rainy night, there is nothing nicer than lighting the fire and putting the music on! 
Phil did a great job, and cleaned up after too, so as recommended by my Neighbour, the trend is catching on on my road!

My fireplace was supplied and installed exactly as I wanted. Phil suggested some minor works to improve safety, which I appreciated. Phil was also able to help with plastering and electrical work when I needed to extend the scope of the job. I was only presented with the invoice, which was as originally agreed, when all aspects of the project were complete and working satisfactorily. Many thanks for my lovely new fire :)

I am very pleased with the excellent service I received from Elegant Fires and Design.  Right from the start, Phil was very open and helpful; giving loads of advice and guidance that I hadn't had from other places. Phil even suggested the stove I should consider after I'd explained the issues I'd had with the ones I'd looked at already.

I think our fit was one of the more tricky that Phil gets to do - raised, insert fire with granite slips - but he took the challenge in his stride and wasn't prepared to compromise on the quality of the fit even when it took longer than we'd expected.  Phil had a solution to every problem and has delivered an excellent quality of finish that I KNOW is done right.

​Phill from Elegant Fires and Design was very professional and had extensive knowledge with regards to the fitting of the Log Burner and the various Log Burners available. Phill gave good advice on which log burner to purchase, based on my requirements and budget.
