Request a couponDee Marley is a wonder! She is delightful to work with. Every year she offers more beneficial services for her authors. I've published five novels, I can't imaging working with anyone else.
I have written two historical fiction novels, and for both I have used the amazing services the HFC provides authors. The book trailers they produce are top-notch and every service provided is with extreme professionalism.
Dee Marley. That's all you need to know, if you are looking for the consummate professional in cover design. I couldn't be happier with my latest cover. I explained what I hoped for. Dee made it even better.
I have written several non-fiction technical books and hundreds - maybe thousands - of published articles and peer-reviewed papers on technical and legal topics. So it stands to reason that my experience with editors and publishers is extensive.
In the more than 50 years that I have been writing never - and I really do mean "never" - have I experienced the level of support, coaching and general professionalism that I have received from Dee as I put my first fiction book together.
It turns out that writing and promoting fiction is far different from writing and promoting technical books of computing topics. I always wanted to write fiction, but my late wife told me no... not until I finished the books I'd been paid for (there were advances on royalties in those days). Unfortunately, with a very active and aggressive agent, that never happened in her lifetime. Now, I'm on my own and launching a new career as a writer of historical fiction. Without the support and encouragement of Dee I never could have made the transition... it's just too different from what I had become used to.
There are a bunch of publishers out there - many in historical fiction. I read horror stories on FaceBook from authors and would-be authors about the terrible support new authors get from most publishers. These people either quit completely or decide to publish as an indie author. To those people I say, "Hold on a sec... check in with Dee and Historium Press and see if you don't get a pleasant surprise.
Dee and her team are highly recommended, especially for new authors or ones transitioning from another genre as I was.
We had a very vague idea of a cover and Dee turned that concept into a great cover on round 1. Very pleased!
I had the pleasure of working with Dee and White Rabbit Arts on the cover of my latest book and I'm delighted with the process and the result. All my fussy requirements were taken on board and I was piloted professionally throughout the production of a fantastic cover which perfectly complements the previous volume (the designer of which was unable to take this commission). I'd have no hesitation working with White Rabbit Arts again or recommending them to others. Thank you, Dee!
Dee produced a stellar cover for my book that captured the eye of many interested readers. As a matter of fact, Net Galley reports that the cover scored a high percentage of votes as the reason for readers requesting the book. I appreciated her quick feedback on any questions and concerns regarding all aspects of book production. In addition, her magazine, Historical Times, is excellent, and I was happy to contribute articles to her fine publication, which also has captivating covers.
I love working with Historium Press, The Historical Fiction Company, and White Rabbit Arts. The stunning book covers make my books stand out. I rely on the insightful manuscript evaluations to improve my craft. The editorial reviews are exceptional. And I don't know how they manage such quick turnaround. High praise for the stellar customer service. I'm a big fan!
I am delighted to share my experiences working with Historium Press for the publication of my novel, 'A Profitable Wife.' From the outset, their professionalism, personal touch, and familial atmosphere have made this journey not just a business endeavor, but a collaborative partnership. The team at Historium Press has shown an unwavering commitment to excellence, providing insightful editorial guidance while respecting the integrity of my work. Their dedication to Historical Fiction has been evident in every aspect of the process, ensuring that my book finds its rightful place among readers who cherish this genre. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such a conscientious publisher and look forward to the continued success of our collaboration.
Working with Dee has been an exceptional experience. Since last summer, I have published three novellas with her help and guidance. As a new author, the services have been outstanding, and I have found Dee to be responsive, thoughtful, and professional. I couldn't ask for more.
Dee Marley has written reviews and designed book covers for me. Her work is creative and professional. She is always responsive to questions and the costs for her services are very reasonable. What more could an author ask for?
Dee at White Rabbit Arts did a lovely cover for my historical novel and worked patiently with me through its various iterations. Highly recommended!
When I submitted my manuscript for Zig Zag Woman to the Historical Fiction Company for review, I never dreamed it would receive a 5 star award and be on its way to publication! Dee Marley's encouragement, clear communications, and attention to detail have made this a truly collaborative effort. So to all writers with manuscripts and great ideas lurking somewhere on their hard drives, my best advice is to contact HFC. Magic may well happen!
My publishing journey has been a joy with Dee Marley as my publishing partner! She knows how to get stuff done which would take me years just to learn how to do, and then I'd still be too nervous to do it. About to start on publishing my second book, and certainly will return with all my others!
Dee has done five covers for me now and every one is unique and professional. I'm very happy with the response time and interaction.
I have rarely encountered customer service as good as I have received from Dee Marley and the HFC. I contracted to have a cover designed for my historical fiction novel. Dee took my initial ideas and created a cover that, while kept the spirit of my work, vastly improved it. The cover brings my protagonist to life. It contributes so much to the final novel that I added Dee and the HFC to the books acknowledgments page.
I am thrilled that the Historical Fiction Company provides a platform and services that uplift historical fiction. These novels so often get lost in the plethora of other literature and are seldom considered by the publishing industry. At the HFC, the historical fiction lover can find a wonderful collection of top quality writing and avoid hours of searching elsewhere.
I am delighted with Dee Marley's trailer for my historical fiction book, Hungry Trails. Her patience and prompt responses to all my correspondence were outstanding. I highly recommend her creative skills and friendly and professional approach to her work. Thank you.
