  Fantastic people: Melissa the scuba instructor is upbeat and personable; Dan, the boat captain is incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly; Carlos the operator he’s the man who knows all and is incredibly encouraging. They all share a love of the ocean and have tremendous knowledge to share about marine life and are experts on ocean currents and conditions.
  
  The boat is in great shape and all of the diving
  equipment is top-notch.
  
  They are super easy to communicate with, you can text, WhatsApp, catch them on the phone, and they will explain everything involved so you can make the decision that suits you the best.
  
  I wasn’t sure I could be successful at scuba diving, but they explained that I could shift to snorkeling if that was the case so I could still get in the water and have a great time. I appreciated the flexibility and the easy accommodation on the fly.
  
  We chose Ace Diving because they have a lot of experience here in the waters off of Miami
  and they are very safety conscious. They have a deep knowledge of the local area and will take you to the best dives; we did flamingo reef, which was only 18 feet deep yet was an entirely different world filled with corals and fish.
  
  Ace Dives create a seamless experience for a diver. We did the “discovery dive”, where you start in the pool in the morning to get basic instruction and try out the equipment and try out the hand signals underwater. Even the pool at the generator hotel was fantastic. It was a warm pool so the pool experience was really pleasant! Instructions were easy to comprehend, and everybody was incredibly encouraging.
  
  I knew I would have a problem clearing my ears and told them and they gave me lots of different types of techniques to try and they were super patient to go really really slow to accommodate me.
  
  10/10 experience, I would dive with them again, and I would recommend everybody to give a them a go. We had some experience divers on our trip who got PADI certified with Ace and were returning for a dive: they are obviously happy repeat customers.

  I had a truly great experience with ACE Diving, and what made it special was the team and the way they supported me throughout my certification.
  
  There were moments during the process that were challenging for me, and instead of feeling rushed or pressured, I always felt supported, safe, and respected. The team gave me the space I needed and helped me understand what was happening, which made a huge difference.
  
  Captain Dan was very calming and reassuring, especially during my first dive, when I was having trouble with my mask. He helped me adjust it and showed me that the situation wasn’t as serious as I thought it was. His calm presence and clear explanations helped me relax and regain confidence.
  
  Saúl, the divemaster, was incredibly supportive the entire time. I did all of my dives with him, and he stayed by my side throughout the process. He explained everything patiently, helped me stay calm, and guided me through my breathing without ever pushing or rushing me. Having him there made a huge difference.
  
  Jesús was my pool instructor, and he was very clear, patient, and kind. He took the time to repeat instructions and always made sure I felt comfortable before moving forward.
  
  I completed my final open water skills with Carlos, who helped me stay calm and focused during the last part of the certification. His guidance made it possible for me to finish with confidence.
  
  Overall, it was an amazing weekend, and I’m very grateful to the entire ACE Diving team. Their professionalism, teamwork, and genuine care truly made the experience what it was. I would absolutely recommend them. I can’t wait to come back!

  I recently completed my Open Water and Advanced Open Water certifications with ACE Diving, and I just had to share how amazing the whole experience was.
  
  As someone who’s usually quiet and a bit hesitant in new settings, I was a little nervous before my first dive. But from the moment I boarded the boat, the crew made me feel completely welcome. They weren’t only skilled and professional—they were truly kind, patient, and deeply passionate about the ocean.
  
  What impressed me most was their way of guiding without pressure, explaining without overwhelming, and making everyone feel included. Underwater, their calm and steady presence helped me relax and fully enjoy the moment. The first breath below the surface was surreal—everything suddenly became quiet, slow, and breathtakingly beautiful. I actually remember asking myself, “Is this real?”
  
  I was able to see all kinds of marine life, and even watched as they collected lionfish, which we later enjoyed as fresh sashimi onboard. It wasn’t just delicious—light, fresh, with a subtle sweetness—it also felt meaningful. Learning that lionfish are invasive made the experience even more special, like we were tasting a small part of the ecosystem we had just explored.
  
  This was more than just a certification trip for me. It was a journey where I felt supported, safe, and unexpectedly enjoyable. Every dive truly brings its own excitement and its own little discoveries—and I’m already looking forward to my next adventure.
  
  I also really appreciated how spacious and well-organized the boat was. Multiple courses could run smoothly at once, and there were also certified divers onboard—focused on exploring different sites—yet it never felt crowded. The whole atmosphere remained relaxed and comfortable throughout.

  I had my very first snorkeling experience with Ace Diving, and it was absolutely amazing 🌊✨ This experience truly made me fall in love with the ocean and with snorkeling itself. Everything was well organized, professional, and made me feel completely safe and relaxed, even as a first-timer 🤿
  
  Huge thanks to Melissa and Daniel — they are truly the best team ever 🙌💙 They are incredibly fun, friendly, and easy to talk to, and they know so much. Throughout the trip, they shared tons of useful and fascinating knowledge about the ocean, snorkeling, and diving 🐠🌊 which made the whole experience even more meaningful and enjoyable.   I also have to share a little “Ace” coincidence that made this day feel extra magical ✨ The day before, I went horseback riding, and the horse I rode was named Ace. Originally, I was supposed to snorkel somewhere far away in Key Largo, but in the early morning no Uber accepted my request (yes, I did not rent a car 😄). So around 6:00 a.m., I booked this snorkeling trip last minute. It was only when I got on the boat that I realized the company was also called Ace Diving — how amazing is that?!
  
  As if that was not lucky enough, we even spotted dolphins on the way back 🐬💙 Although I did not manage to take any photos, it truly felt like a very lucky and special day.
  
  Because of this experience, I am now determined to get my diving certification 💪🤿 Once I do, I would absolutely love to come back and go diving with Melissa and Daniel again. Thank you so much to Ace Diving, Melissa, and Daniel for giving me such a joyful and unforgettable day

  We booked with Ace Diving for a girls trip, we were super excited for their snorkel offerings perfect for adventurous tweens. Booking was super easy and I love that it’s love-availability, online booking.
