  AMAZING! If you are ever in Miami and want to dive or get fully certified, GO HERE! Amazing for all ages, watched them handle 12-year-olds up to middle-aged adults in just the few days I had with them. Carlos was an amazing instructor by helping out with everybody's issues, and telling you what you did wrong, how to fix it, and always congratulated you when you achieve something that you were struggling with, and made sure you really knew how to do it. Jesus and another Carlos were outstanding crew members, super uplifting to customers, and all around HILARIOUS! Everybody had such an incredible time, and the boat drives were full of either useful information or jokes all around! All of the crew were super kind and were always ready and eager to help out wherever and whenever needed! Great customer support on and outside the boat and water, always an answer to the phone when called while planning dives, took the time to find the best equipment for you, and if there was something wrong with your gear, somebody was already on it to fix it! Very safe and reliable dive shop, I would recommend to everybody that is beginning, experienced, or anywhere in between! All sights we saw were so beautiful! From a shipwreck, to a cemetery, and a reef, everything was a shocking sight. Renting QUALITY gear at very reasonable prices was a major factor to me!
  If it were possible, I would give this more stars! 100% coming back, awesome trip here.

  This was by far the absolute best Scuba diving experience ever! Ace Diving Miami really knows what they are doing. They make sure that you are comfortable and prepared for when you go into the ocean and when you are in the ocean they take their time and are so patient with you!   I completed the discover program and it was my first time ever time scuba diving. Nestor was the best guide/instructor! I was terrified once in the ocean despite have the pool training. My scuba guide Nestor was so patient and kind, I would recommend him to anyone! He helped calm me down and ensured I felt safe throughout the dive by frequently checking in with me. I felt so comfortable and had a lot of fun on the 2nd dive thanks to his guidance and support!
  I also want to shoutout the whole crew and company itself! All the instructions to find the location were very clear. The entire crew was very friendly and we had no issues whatsoever. If you are a beginner diver and want a fun, safe experience, I highly recommend trying Ace’s discover scuba diving experience!

  I had a great experience snorkeling with Ace Diving, the staff are friendly and I felt safe doing the activities. For the first timers: do keep in mind that big waves can cause seasickness and injury on the boat, so make sure you come prepared and hang tight onto the rails.

  I went with ACE twice, both times for snorkeling. I snorkel a lot as for a person who doesn't live close to the sea (200-300h/year), usually with my buddy. While I am a certified diver, I am terrible at equalising and I just prefer snorkeling for the simplicity of it.
  The trip to the Neptun memorial and one other spot was really not for snorkelers, the visibility was poor though I still enjoyed being in the water. The trip to Biscayne was more snorkeler friendly and visibility was better. That being said I was spoiled by recent time in Hawaii and Fiji where coral reefs are superb and visibility is out of this world. I still enjoyed my time and the crew was extremely friendly. You could easily ask them anything you need to know. The sea can get choppy so if you get sea sick just take something beforehand (maybe would be a good addition to stock the boat with some medicine and mint for that). Whether you do snorkeling or diving you should be comfortable with it (know what you are doing) and if you are a beginner I would say you should be proactive and ask questions.
  Overall, next time I would opt for diving and I get people complaining about no dive master guiding them step by step but they do have an extra option for that. One thing I would improve is better info on currents and directions though as an experienced snorkeler I appreciated the flexibility given and ability to explore. Maybe this would matter for me more when diving, I don't trust myself getting around well. Overall I do think it's a good company to go with but I would recommend you do diving with them and for Snorkeling go for other snorkeling only tours which are available in the area :)

  Wonderful experience with Carlos and the rest of the Ace Diving crew. Carlos truly cares about his customers: our safety and our enjoyment of the diving experience. He’ll tell you what you truly need to know (not just tell you what you want to hear), work with you to figure out the best options, and in the end truly deliver a worthwhile day of diving. The boat and diving gear are meticulously maintained, and everyone was friendly and professional.
  
  From what I gathered on my 2-tank dive, they’re best suited to serve all levels of divers seeking a certification, as well as experienced divers out for a fun day underwater. This is the environment where they shine. Truly exceptional. Also, their DPVs (diver propulsion vehicles, or “scooters”) looked like a blast! These are not the rinky-dink types I’ve seen at other places. In hindsight, that would have been a great thing to do with Ace Diving.
  
  However, if you’re a relatively new diver (or haven’t been diving for awhile), and you’re just out for nice dive, then it might make sense for you to come with someone experienced whom you trust. There’s no “Dive Guide” to show you the way, to ensure everyone sticks together and isn’t having an issue, and to call out points of interest or hazards. The crew seemed to be all Instructors focused on divers who signed up for certifications. You and your Dive Buddy simply jump in, descend, do your own thing, and return on your own. It’s possible that things have changed since the pandemic, and this is now the norm. It didn’t bother me, but it I can see how this approach could be unsettling for some.
  
  And don’t bring bananas. They joke about it, but apparently it’s a superstition they don’t cross. Some places in the Caribbean hold a belief that bananas are bad luck on a boat. Or, go ahead and bring one to give to the Captain…just to see what happens.

  The professionalism and standards of care this company holds is outstanding. Coming from a former employee, this company hired me on as a new Divemaster and had patience and diligence to throughly teach me every thing I needed to know. Ace diving is the #1 dive boat and the #1 company I have ever been employed by. With their time and patience teaching me professional Divemaster skills to move to the next level, it has opened my eyes to so many opportunities. Thus leading me to chase my dream, finish school and become a marine biologist. And thanks to Ace Diving for excelling my Diving passion, I am now taking my skills to Australia for an extended period of time next year to dive the Great Barrier Reef for the next several months!! Highly recommend Carlos and Ace Diving!! I miss you guys so much!

  In 2024 I completed both my Open Water, Advanced Open Water and EANx certifications with Ace Diving in Miami, and it was an unforgettable experience! Carlos and his team were not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly supportive, making sure I felt confident every step of the way.
  
  The training was thorough, with a perfect balance of classroom instruction and practical dives. The dive sites were stunning, featuring vibrant coral reefs and an array of marine life that truly enhanced my learning experience.
  
  I appreciated the emphasis on safety and conservation throughout the courses. The small group sizes allowed for personalized attention, which made the experience even better.   I had the absolute best time diving with the Ace Miami team! I was a bit scared of water coming into it and was skeptical about even being able to get in the water, but they made the magic happen!
  The way the training is organized is very thoughtful and not rushed, so you get enough time to learn basic skills in the pool first and then slowly start applying them in open water. Everyone is very supportive and I always felt that if something were to happen, Carlos/Nestor had my back and will help out.
  We did 4 open water dives and with every dive I felt more and more comfortable, because our head coach explained every little detail step by step, and was always there to support us in or out of water.
  The last dive the absolute dream - we saw so many gorgeous fish, corals, lobsters and even a tiny shark! I am certainly going back.
  To sum up, highly recommend getting PADI certified with ACE Miami diving - they are professional but fun, and you'll be so happy you did it!
