We were early and they got things going quickly. The Captain was easy going and knowledgeable about the area and was able to answer any questions we had. The yacht was immaculate and everything we expexted.
I have a lot of company functions. I like chartering boats and and spending the day on the ocean. I've chartered boats from a few different places nothing special . A friend of mine introduced me to this gentleman by the name of Reuben we got talk he told me that he was the owner of Captain Newport and charters top of the line yachts. The following Monday I called him to see what he had available for the following weekend he asked how many people I told him twelve, he said no problem he hooked me up with a 42' Donzi the boat was beautiful very clean, nice sound system very fast on the open ocean. The staff and the crew were all pleasant and very professional that was two years ago. Since then I become very good friends with Reuben and his family I've chattered 6 or 7 times and every time has been awesome not one single complaint If you want to go out on the ocean for the day have a great time hassle free on a beautiful yacht I would highly recommend Captain Newport all you need is your sunscreen, booze and bathing suits optional tell him Al sent you
We had an amazing time on the sunset excursion! Our captain was awesome and so was our bartender assistant that was offered to us in addition. Unforgettable memories were made and we are actually going to book again!! Highly recommend Captain Newport! Absolutely loved it!
Captain Newport is the best charter company on the water! My experience is always seamless and thoroughly enjoyable. Luxury from start to finish and the customer service is out of this world. I simply won't go anywhere else and you shouldn't either!
My family and I rented the 43' Sundancer and cruised around the harbor looking at Christmas lights. Captain Peg was very knowledgeable about the harbor and made our trip very enjoyable. I highly recommend going through Captain Newport if you are looking for a fun outing on the beautiful waters of Newport Beach!
What an absolute great day we had cruising the harbor soaking up the sun and enjoying friends!! Super professional and friendly staff from beginning to end. Book your adventure...highly recommend
My girlfriends and I recently rented an amazing yacht from Captain Newport for a birthday party! We all had such a good time and the weather made it a perfect day. Thank you to their staff for their excellent customer service and walking us through everything for our first rental. We can't wait to do it again!
Their crew is always professional, safety is their number one priority. I have booked the Donzi numerous times & taken the boat to Emerald Bay + Catalina for my birthday. Their service is outstanding & I have referred them to my family + friends. Reuben + team respond right away & their captains make each trip one to remember. I would absolutely book my next trip with them!
I've rented both the Donzi and the Van Dutch and had the greatest time with my family and friends. Boats were awesome, the captains were awesome and Reuben went out of his way to make us happy. I highly recommend this company. I will be back again and again.
I rented the 43-foot Sundancer. This boat was amazing. It is apparently one of their most popular boats and Captain Peg (yes he only has one leg) was so amazing and fun!! I would definitely rent from Captain Newport again. The process was so easy and I even got a host and didn't have to worry about anything but relaying to them what food and beverages I wanted and it was all there on the boat when we arrived. Such a five star experience.
I also saw they added a Duffy to their fleet! Going to check that one out next time.
I rented from Captain Newport It was the BEST boat, the best Captain, the best customer service. Over all a great experience and we will rent again from you! Sometimes the people make all the difference.
I rented the Sundancer for my birthday. It was the best experience. My husband and I brought our kids despite being a little afraid of them getting sea sick but they had the best of time. Our Captain was Captain Mike. He was so awesome! He took us out to see the dolphins 🐬 my kids loved it! After the captain took us to Emerald Bay and kids were able to swim and jump in the water. Such a memorable birthday! We all enjoyed ourselves and the Captain made us feel safe and we had such a great time! Would definitely recommend renting a boat from Captain Newport Luxury yacht rental.
I chose Captain Newport because of the kind services I received. The yachts and boats are clean, new and well maintained. I got on the boat knowing I was safe and secure. It was easy to book and received a great price for the boat I chose. I highly recommend Captain Newport and will always book with them. I loved being on Beautiful Donzi Yacht, it was quiet clean and smooth ride to Emerald Bay. The captain was awesome and extremely knowledgeable.
I recently booked a 8-hour yacht charter for my wife's birthday (for 12 guests) and it was an incredible and unforgettable experience. The good vibes and energy started long before we hit the water as the booking process with Reuben was easy and seamless. We were very particular in what we wanted, so we asked to see several boats and Reuben was very accommodating and patient. When we found the one we wanted, Reuben was thorough and communicative to us on our service options and how to have the best experience on board. He put together an all-star crew for us. Our captain, James, was fun and engaging. The main broker and deck hand, Jason, was friendly and accommodating. Our bartender, Brooke, was extremely attentive and helpful. We hired our own chef for the day (familiar with private yacht parties) and it made all the difference! We went down the coastline, and even was able to anchor and jump out in the water and do some swimming and enjoy the water sports. Our guests raved about how relaxing and luxurious it was, and my wife was extremely happy about how the day went. We would definitely charter with Captain Newport again, and have already recommended them to several friends looking to charter as well!
My sister and I chartered a boat for her birthday and Capt Robert showed us an amazing time! He is super knowledgeable about the history of all the homes and is super easy going and accommodating! Looking forward to another adventure with Capt Newport for my big day!
If I could give 10 stars I would. Our wedding photo trip was amazing. We all had such a good time. They worked with me on a great price, and for the size Yacht we needed which was spectacular. Captain Peg got there on time, even though the weather was a bit off, he made it so our wedding pictures were awesome, we even caught full rainbows. Captain Peg made sure safety was first for all of us. I would highly recommend Captain Newport for all your boating needs.
