  Sniffer training: A great way to dedicate time to your dog while learning new skills to use (particularly with a far too bright and enthusiastic 10 month puppy!) Still plenty to work on and a lot to improve, but want to continue with this moving forwards!   i have just completed the Reactive Rovers course at Confident Happy Canines and enjoyed it more than i expected. Suzanna and Phillipa are very experienced in this topic and created a very welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. the structure of the course was great and every week we built on what we had learnt previously. good combination of theory and practical work. they gave great and helpful advice throughout and gave recommendations how to adapt the exercises for your dog if needed but also how we as owners could adapt our style or speed of movement to get better results. i feel i learnt new skills and gained more confidence when walking my dog and on top of that had fun.. thank you!

  Finley and I loved the Bronze UK Sniffer Dog Course, found the course content and exercises very engaging; he learnt a lot in the 6 weeks and more importantly it certainly enriched his days. Philippa and Suzanne are very professional and knowledgeable always making clear tasks and explaining things in a way where we always understood with patience whilst we were learning.   Really clear and useful guidance. Lots of support and lovely instructors. Great back up if needed and not too overwhelming. Our pup, Ollie, has got a great deal out of our first course, being around other dogs and really enjoyed learning all the new skills. What is really great is Philippa and Suzanne will show you how to uplevel the skill once it is learnt or if they can already do it. All in all, a fabulous duo who really know their stuff which is why we've booked again for another course.

  Phillipa and Suzanne know what they are doing and do it with such enthusiasm and care for the dogs. We recently did the Novice Loose Lead & Recall course with our rescue spaniel and the progress from beginning to end was amazing. They ensured every owner understood each task and adapted the games based on each dog's progress.   We have done three courses now and I highly recommend Confident Happy Canines.
  
  As first time dog owners the Novice Social Life Skills, Novice Loose Lead and Intermediate Social Life Skills courses have given us the skill set to raise a confident dog that we can now take anywhere.
  
  The courses have also helped us understand our dogs behaviour and what she is going through in her development.
  
  Suzanne and Philippa are extremely knowledgeable and really care for the wellbeing of the dogs. The courses are good fun and their approach is patient and encouraging. To ensure you get the most benefit from the training the activities are adapted for dogs of different abilities.
  
  We have already booked our next course and can’t wait to start the Bronze UK Sniffer Dog Course.

  We have done 2 courses with Philippa and Suzanne and we fully intend to do more. They are brilliant trainers who have a wonderfully vibrant and encouraging teaching style. We have learned so much from them and value all their expertise. They are patient, kind trainers and they are on hand to reassure you when you are struggling with all the challenges that come with raising an adolescent dog! Its clear how much hard work goes into planning and running the sessions and my only regret is that we didn't know about them sooner.

  Just finished my second course with Confident Happy Canines and started my third. Loose Lead and Recall course was excellent - good to train with dogs of a variety of ages, excellent and knowledgeable support for positive training p, and lots of fun ideas to make recall a fun activity. It’s given me a lot more confidence on walks with my 6 month old.
