  I can highly recommend the nervous dog course. My boy was very reactive to other dogs and humans and walking him was always very problematic. The course not only gave him confidence but also gave me the skills needed to to help build his confidence further away from the course setting, and also techniques to enable both of us to handle difficult situations when out and about. He is a changed dog!

  We did the fun training combo course and I would really recommend this. We learnt a lot, but it was also such a fun hour, especially the party games and the scent work.   We took the novice agility and parkour course with our 1yr foxhound. Both instructors are lovely super friendly and knowledgeable. They really care about the wellbeing and safety of the dogs. The venue is indoor (barn) so classes can go ahead no matter the weather. It is such a brain workout for our energetic boy, he loved it and always so tired afterwards!

  We did the 6 week novice agility, fitness and parcour course. This course gave us a taster for three different types of activities one can do with your dog. I would not hesitate to recommend Suzanne and Philippa as trainers. They were so patience and worked at your pace for both dog and handler. They also made the lessons fun and interesting. Give it a go, you'll love it!

  If you want to have fun learning new skills with your dog and meet like minded people I can thoroughly recommend Confident Happy Canines. I have attended several of their courses and workshops and my rescue spaniel has learnt so much, I have owned dogs for many years and attended different training courses but have learnt so much about positive dog training and having fun with your dog. Dog training does not have to be in a formal classroom style environment so many basic skills can be learnt by doing Trick Training, Agility, Parkour and other fun activities. Philippa and Suzanne making the training fun whilst ensuring that everyone learns new skills, they are always happy to adapt lessons if a dog or owner is struggling with a particular exercise.

  I have been training my dog, Darcie, with Suzanne and Philippa, since she was 15 weeks old and attended puppy school. We have since graduated from novice and intermediate social life skills training. They are honestly amazing, knowledgeable trainers. Darcie and I have learnt so much and have enjoyed coming to class every week. We look forward to joining novice parkour in a couple of weeks.

  we started off on a social skills workshop with our fear reactive "party animal". Right from the start Philippa and Suzanne gave us confidence in accepting our girl as she is and safely managing the workshop so that everyone benefited and progressed.
  
  our dog at home can do allsorts, we've done a lot of training to a good level but only on her own, so when I saw a trick training class, it was the perfect opportunity to work on tricks she knew with the distractions of other dogs, plus we learnt some new things and our dog was given the chance to settle around other dogs. again they managed the class beautifully to accommodate all the dogs learning at different levels.
  
  we've just this week finished the novice life skills class, the difference in my dog (and all of the 6 week dogs) was very visible, my husband took the last class and couldn't believe the difference. Again they accommodated our loveable nutcase, the class was well managed to keep.everyone safe while allowing us to progress in capability.
  
  We've just signed up to the follow on Intermediate class - I'd never have thought our girl would be suitable 6 weeks ago, and while she's got a long way to go, the regular sessions are really building both her confidence and ours.
  
  Even if you think your dog knows a lot, Phillipa and Suzanne can tailor within the class to each dogs level so that everyone benefits and learns.
  
  we also signed our other dog up to another class.

  We have attended a workshop and three different group classes with Confident Happy Canines so far and have really enjoyed all of them. The approach is completely positive and reward based and it has certainly helped us understand and respond to our young dogs needs. We cannot fault the knowledge and practical advice shared by both of the trainers involved and would not hesitate to recommend.

  I cannot recommend CHC highly enough. My favourite course has to be Golden Oldies. There is no course like it anywhere else that I am aware of. Specifically aimed at Senior dogs, it is my favourite hour of the week where I get to spend special time with my gorgeous old boy, Paddy. He has the best time as it's all about fun. And who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? You absolutely can! Golden Oldies is a mixture of tricks, games, interactive toys, scentwork, fun competitions, gentle stretches and quiet time. It helps keep Paddy's mind active and gives us a lovely hour to strengthen our bond. Honestly, if you have a senior dog, you need to sign up to this class, your dog will love you for it! Paddy and I will sign up for as long as these classes keep running!
