After get strung along a few days by another appliance repair business, then dealing with some flaky behavior, I pulled the plug and looked for someone else. I saw that Fix-it Guy Appliance Repair had many good reviews on Yelp, so I called. The person answering the phone was friendly and upbeat. They had someone out in under two hours! Patrick showed up right on time and got to work. Inside half an hour, he had the problem diagnosed. The dryer needed two parts replaced. Patrick gave me a price, told me he had the parts in his truck and could make the repair immediately, if I wanted. I did, so I gave him the go-ahead. I think the price was reasonable. In about another half hour, the repair was made. Patrick also brought his own vacuum cleaner in and vacuumed out the inner workings of the dryer, which Patrick said was full of lint and dog hair. They take credit cards and send an email receipt.
I am very happy with Fix-it Guy Appliance Repair. I won't hesitate to call them again if some other appliance here goes on the fritz, and I recommend them confidently to anyone in need of their services.

Fix-It-Guys came through in a pinch with our broken dryer. Robert Jr. took the time to walk us through all possible scenarios and had Robert Sr. on-site within 6 business hours. They were on-time and fantastic throughout the process. It ended up being a minor issue and actually pointed us in the direction to pick-up the part ourselves and save money. We will certainly be calling again for any issues, big or small. Thanks guys.

The first call you should make.
It can be scary to call a repairman, because you're not sure if they're gonna take advantage of the fact that you have no clue how your dishwasher works or why it suddenly won't run.
Other places I called, without so much as a conversation, were ready to charge me a minimum flat fee to send someone out - but when I called Robert, not only was he immediately cool and friendly but he took a few minutes to talk to me and troubleshoot the issue first. Turns out, it was an insanely simple fix that would have cost me a hundred plus dollars to even have diagnosed at another company.
If a guy is actively helping people avoid unnecessary charges, he is the first one you should call - better believe he's my first call next time.
