I always look forward to my sessions with Danae, she laid down a solid foundation of exercises to help strengthen my knee. Each time I attempt the exercises I can feel my hip adductors getting firmer too ;) which is gr8 hehe.
I’ve been struggling with leg and hip issues for over a year and was unable to bend or squat properly. After just a few sessions with Hui Wen I’ve seen significant improvement — I can now bend my legs and squat again, something I hadn’t been able to do for 1.5 years :)
Hui Wen quickly identified the root of my problem and recommended effective, targeted exercises. I really appreciate her patience and attentiveness — she took the time to listen to my concerns and adapted the exercises to suit my comfort level. I felt heard and supported throughout the process.
I also want to affirm the booking system - simple and fuss-free, and the administrative staff are friendly and accommodating when it comes to re-scheduling.

Just had physiotherapy session to address ongoing back and shoulder discomfort, and it was incredibly effective - Kudos to Joanna! Also had sports massage and the therapist applied firm, targeted pressure to release deep knots, especially around my upper back and shoulder blades, which had been stiff for weeks. I felt a significant improvement in mobility and pain relief right after.
highly recommend for anyone dealing with stress or strain in these areas!!

Very impressed by how Song Choon managed to pinpoint the root cause of my lower back pain (after being referred to several specialists). He explained the issue clearly, and I saw quick improvements with the exercises he taught me.
Yvonne was also super helpful throughout the duration of my sessions too (both WA and in person).
I'm glad the neurosurgeon I saw recommended Exodus. I highly recommend this clinic if you ever need a physiotherapist.
I was referred to see Dr Clare for physio. She was well informed and guided me detailed and clearly to do the exercises. She is also keen and knowledgeable if i had any questions. Dr Clare and the rest of the clinic staff was also very friendly and welcoming which made the whole experience a pleasant one! I would highly recommend this clinic!

I saw this on ig and i decided to give it a try for sports massage with Cristel. Its just so difficult to find a sport massage therapist that knows his/her stuff.
I had a 1hr session for my upper body on Tuesday and a 1hr session for my legs today. It is really good.
Why do we seek out sports massages? We have aching muscles, tight muscles, stiff shoulder, lower back pain and many others. We just want these ailments to go away and be healthy and normal again!
I have had sports massages from many different therapists for at least 10 years and i have never encountered someone like Cristel. Some therapists may be just going through the motions while others may be trying their best. I will describe all the sports massage therapists that i have had encountered as generalists where they do learn the theory and practise what they learnt. Christel, on the hand, is a specialist at sports massage. You will encounter massages at parts of the body that never had been touched before. For example, most massages are static massages in the sense that you lie there and they do their stuff. She believes in dynamic massages(similiar to dynamic stretching) and it works. If you prefer therapists that can give hard massages, she can deliver as well. She also does explain what she is doing as times and you get to learn more about your body and sports massages(if you wish to do so. U can sleep if you wish).
Im been to sports massages that cost above $150/hr and they can't compare to her massages, which only costs a reasonable $125/hr.

I recently had surgery on my knee to repair a torn meniscus and severe damage to my trochlear cartilage from 25+ years of skateboarding. I am so lucky that my surgeon referred me to Joanna at Exodus!
I have been to numerous other physiotherapists over the years for other injuries and usually stopped going after 1-2 visits as I didn't feel it was helping me. My experience with Joanna was entirely different.
I had my first session with Joanna shortly after my surgery and she gave me some minor mobility exercises to start with. She took care to note down measurements of my mobility and upon the subsequent visits told me how I was progressing. This may sound small, but reflecting on it now, I understand that she is not simply measuring progress but caring for my mental health by acknowledging that progress along the way and setting goals for the future.
She also took care to help me understand my body more by explaining the various muscles, tendons and bones that I was working on. Even after completing my physiotherapy, I see this as extremely valuable knowledge that helps me to understand what is happening inside of my body and make independent decisions on what stretches or exercises to work on to solve minor problems as they arise.
I also found it very valuable that Joanna is certified in Dry Needling. I had never done this before and it works wonders with immediate effect. This was especially important as I was rapidly building back lost muscle which at the same time created a lot of tension that the dry needling could release. Shockwave therapy was also amazing for tendon issues. Joanna was able to guide me through typical physiotherapy on top of these other methods rather than being passed around a group of specialists as I have experienced elsewhere.
Overall, I am forever grateful to Joanna for guiding me through this process and I'm happy to say that I am back to skateboarding and feeling great!
Came to see Joanna to treat a quads pull from playing sports. I came here by chance as the clinic had a slot for me, but I am really grateful and thankful to have met Joanna as my physio! She is very experienced and knowledgeable which translated to an effective treatment. I felt relief from the tension/swelling each session.
More importantly, Joanna corrected my form and taught me daily strengthening/stretching exercises that are very palatable to incorporate into my daily schedule. They are simple-to-do yet effective exercises that can be done in the morning, while watching tv, before going to bed, which means I will stick with it!
I also tried the sports massage with Christel and felt instant relief. It was unlike any I’ve had before.
Finally, visiting Exodus is a full experience because of Majella at the door. She greets you with the biggest, warmest smile, and really takes the time to know you and remember the clients that walk through.

I had surgery for a broken femur bone and was referred to Joanna. Her patience was remarkable throughout my long recovery journey. She never rushed me and always ensured I was comfortable with each step of the treatment. Her encouraging demeanour kept me motivated, even on days when progress seemed slow. What impressed me most was her skillful use of cues to help me perform exercises correctly. I would recommend her to anyone in need of physiotherapy, esp for complex recoveries like mine!

I’ve been to many sports massages and such, and while did release trigger points, Christel at Exodus really does a really fantastic job! She’s not only able to release trigger points, she is able to pinpoint the problems and advice. She is definitely very knowledgeable in her craft, it’s been one of the best sports massages I’ve ever gotten. I’ll definitely recommend her!
