  I have seen a number of practitioners to deal with pain in my spine and hip, including weakness in my right leg and numbness on the surface of my right shin. Dr. Zahir went over my MRI results, carefully explaining the likely cause and illustrating it with the MRI imaging, and outlined a three step approach to treating the pain from least invasive to possible surgical intervention. I felt understood in a way that he first wanted me to be able to return to the activities I love before suggesting dramatic lifestyle changes.

  Surgery was amazing. No pain what so ever. No comparison between endoscopic surgery and regular back surgery. Dr. Usman Zahir is so busy surgeon so book your appointment early.

  I took my mother into see Dr. Zahir on Monday September 19, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. he gave my mom four prescriptions, three for inflammation alone and one for pain.
  
  The prescriptions were never called in! We called his office all week to have them sent to be filled and by Wednesday night we finally got a hold of a nurse who had to email him for the 5th time to call in my mother’s prescriptions.
  
  By Thursday (9/22/2022) she finally was able to get her inflammation under control but he has yet to call in her prescription for pain to the right pharmacy. I am truly disappointed we were referred to him, and how his whole staff has treated my 65 year old mother.
  
  Every single one of the staff have brushed off her cry for being in pain. I will be submitting a formal complaint in addition to this review for the mistreatment of my elderly, black, mother and the dismissal of her pain.

  Dr. Zahir is an amazing surgeon. He is friendly and really cares about his patients. He helped completely eliminate in my back pain without any complications and it is just amazing. Thanks to him, my quality of life has significantly improved and I am able live without constant pain. No complications and no scarring and my pain is gone, with a surgery well-done.

  Dr Zahir did surgery on my neck 8 years ago and I've been in terrible pain ever since. When looking at post x-rays of my neck, he immediately blamed the other Doctor with him during surgery.
  Without ever telling me what he saw in the x-rays. I must have been that one in a hundred patient that got screwed.
  Stay away from this quack doctor.
  Definitely get a second opinion.
