Dr. Zahir was wonderful. He spent time (30+ minutes) walking us through imaging, explaining short and long term options, and answering all of our questions. I really felt like he respected my parter (who is a genderqueer athlete in her late 30s), and after 8 different neurologists, we finally found one to stick with.

I went today to see doctor Zahir for my siatica pain caused by L5-S1 protruded hernia that has been bothering me for about 3 weeks now. He looked and compared the two MRI I presented from DEC 2019 and January 2022 with me. Preformed a thorough exam and discussed treatment options based on the physical exam findings. His advise made a lot sense than my recent other specialist visit. I strongly recommend him for spine herniated disc patients. More over he is one the few doctors in our region who can perform endoscopic micro disecectomy with an incision that is about 1/4 inch long. Thank you Dr. Zahir

I had my first visit today at metro ortho. Dr Zahir is very knowledgeable, respectful, and caring. The ladies at the front desk are very nice and welcoming. The whole office has a very positive vibe.

Dr. Zahir was so relatable and understanding. He spoke in laments terms that made me feel that he truly listened to my concerns. His suggestions were applicable and I am looking forward to the follow up with my primary. Made the drive WORTH IT !

Dr. Zahir is an amazing doctor. I spent 3 restless months with severe sciatica. I was unable to stand or walk more than a few minutes. I had endoscopic surgery performed by Dr. Zahir on October 25, 2021 and that evening I was walking totally normal. I’m two weeks post op and yesterday I walked 3 miles!! I had prayed and ask God to help me find a back surgeon who could help me. God totally answered my prayers and I’m pain free. Thanks so much to Dr. Zahir. If someone is reading this and needing a back surgeon, Dr. Zahir is your guy!!!!
