  Doctor Zahir is the epitome of what a doctor should be. He performs expert diagnoses of problems, thoroughly explains his findings and spends plenty of time explaining everything, including your options and expected outcomes. On top of that he is an outstanding spine surgeon. I can't recommend enough!

During my initial assessment and evaluation, he was very patient, attentive, responsive, caring, interested, factual, knowledgeable and honest. We found his assessment and evaluation very reassuring. We went to him with a list of questions, he was delighted to answer every single one to our satisfaction. His office coordinated my bilateral endoscopic lumber discectomy surgery with promptness and precision.

  Dr. Zahir is an excellent spine surgeon and better, a kind, patient human being who takes the time to, patiently and in plain English, address patients' anxieties, questions and concerns--or, dare I say, empathy, in conjunction with his medical training and professional experience. Qualities that have become abidingly scarce in health care, in my experience. I have already recommended Dr. Z to friends suffering from back and nerve issues.
