Dr. Usman Zahir changed my life for the better. I was born with bad hips and lumbar spinal stenosis. I had my hips replaced years ago, which really helped me. The stenosis has been bothering me for the last 30 years. Every time I was on my feet, I was uncomfortable, because my spinal bones were pressing against my spinal nerves. It felt like my spinal nerves were in a vice. I went to orthopedic surgeons years ago, and back then, they had to take your back apart and recovery would last for months. I decided to wait until technology improved. Dr. Zahir operated on my L4-L5 lumbar region on 06/18/21. Five days later, I drove to the store and carried heavy grocery bags into the house. I also cut my grass for the next two days. My pain/aching/stiffness in my lower back is now completely gone. I now feel like a normal person, and can stand for hours without any discomfort. My quality of life has improved at least 50%. Before the surgery, I could not bend backwards even an inch because it really hurt. Now I can bend backwards at least a foot with no discomfort. I am forever greatful to Dr. Usman Zahir for removing the pain, and allowing me to feel like a normal person.
Dr. Zahir is one of the best back doctors in town. He is also a very considerate nice guy.

Dr.Zahir saved me from becoming handicapped .. before his treatment.. I was unable to walk more than 3 steps and had excruciating pain through out the day and night.. uncountable muscle cramps.. that left me tired and unable to sleep... with his treatment, surgery, follow ups, recommended exercises, without pain killers, without muscle relaxants, without electric massagers I am able to walk a mile a day.. sleep well, no more cramps, no pain while walking.... I am 68 years old, recovery at this age is challenging but under care of Dr. Zahir, it happened and my family and I can't be grateful enough of God to be able to find him and receive his treatment.
