I have been training at Valor Precision Combat for quite some time now having been a member of other martial arts clubs in the past.
The fact that I have been training here for so long is testimony in itself. The instruction is spot on. My children are club members and the approach to both children and adults is fantastic. The instruction and practices are interesting, challenging and exhilarating and I always leave a lesson with a sense of accomplishment. The other club members are great and if I could sum it all up in four words, it would be "Great training, no egos".
I would highly recommend this club for teenagers great with self-esteem building and self-worth a really supportive club and really good to channel a young persons emotions and focus
i would like to thank the team for the support they have given my teenagers it has made a world of difference
I have been attending Valor Ju Jitsu for a while at the Market Drayton Dojo. Sensei Reece is very friendly and knowledgeable, also other students are very helpful and friendly. I can’t fault them, really impressed, many regards
I have loved Martial Arts all my life and had spent my childhood practicing Karate. I was looking to get back to training again but more in the style of Wing Chun and Jeet-Kune-Do. So I couldn't have been happier when I came across Valor Precision Combat (VPC). I am now learning new skills from Chinese and Filipino Martial Arts to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The instructors are world class and have travelled far and wide to master their skills. I would recommend Valor Precision Combat to anyone from complete beginner to the practitioner who wishes to broaden their skill set. Even through lockdown the online classes have been engaging and motivating. Valor Precision Combat is now a way of life for me, highly recommended.
A really friendly club welcoming all abilities and ages. I thought I was too old and unfit to do this sport, but I have been training with Valor for a few years now and am working towards brown belt! The instructors are knowledgeable, friendly and really great at building confidence. I have not only kept fit, I have made amazing friends in this club. I can highly recommend!
I absolutely love training at Valor, I train both in Ju Jitsu and also Precision Combat and enjoy both equally. The instruction is second to none and there is a definite friendly and family atmosphere. The coaches are awesome and are incredibly adaptable. I enjoy it so much that my children also attend classes here too. Whether it be for fitness, self defence tuition or to gain self confidence I highly recommend Valor to anyone.
When my boys, who are autistic met Sensei Reece, they were having a really hard time in their lives.
Many years later they have their purple belts.
Not only that they have confidence and skills that have helped them develop as people . Sensei Reece has been so supportive of them over the years and at one point his courses were the only thing they stuck at.
I cannot praise him enough for allowing them a safe environment to work in and develop their personal and Ju Jitsu skills.
Even when we moved further away we have made classes a weekly priority.
Thank you for all your dedication and hard work.
I was an old Ju Jitsu student of Sensei Reece, who after several years away came back thinking I will never get back to how good I was. With Sensei Reece’s help, I feel I am on the way to the level I used to be at within Valor Ju Jitsu. Also I have taken up the Valor Precision Combat style to learn a new way of training that compliments Valor Ju Jitsu. Sensei Steve has been a fantastic teacher and shown me new skills through this hybrid Martial Arts System which incorporates Kung Fu, Kickboxing and Filipino Martial Arts. The students are great and I have made good friends from them. I travel from near the Welsh border to training in Shrewsbury, Market Drayton and Whitchurch - it’s that good! I highly recommend Valor Combat Systems to any age of student who wants to learn effective Self-Defence in a fun, friendly environment!
My kids train in Valor Ju Jitsu and I train in Valor Precision Combat. This is so much more than a Martial Arts club. My boys confidence has improved tenfold and I am learning so much. Whether you have no experience or loads, there is such a variety of skills to learn from top experts. With the current situation forcing us to learn from home, Valor Combat Systems has made it more accessible for people to learn Martial Arts and also get fitter and stronger.
This is an amazing club, with amazing people. We are so fortunate to have such world class Sensei’s who have coached multi-disciplined Martial Arts (to international level) all around the world.
I’ve been with the club now for 3 years and loved each and every session.
I couldn’t recommend Valor Ju Jitsu (Valor Combat Systems) enough.
Valor Ju Jitsu has taught my son self-discipline, self-confidence and self-respect. Sensei Reece Phillips is a perfect role model for teenage boys in how to conduct yourself and how to treat others. Highly recommended.
Daniel loves attending Valor Ju Jitsu. Sensei Reece Phillips and Sensei Steve Mascarenhas have given him a lot of confidence and self belief. I also think it is fantastic that Valor Ju Jitsu has found a way for their students to join in throughout these uncertain and scary times.... much needed for these kids to continue their journey.
This is just to say thank you for arranging the Valor Combat Systems online classes, in response to the Covid-19 situation. My daughter has just taken part in one, and has loved it! The video was really clear, with the instructor keeping everyone involved. She was worried that her training would lapse, however the video lessons will allow her to keep on top of her training, and keep her motivated; she has asked us to book her for the next lesson, and is really looking forward to it. Well done for setting this up!
The Valor Combat Systems online classes are a great idea! Our daughter has really enjoyed her first one tonight and has asked to book onto tomorrow's, happy days!!
Just an add on as well from my other review the online classes for Valor Combat Systems are brilliant. Super fun and easy to do at home.
Valor Combat Systems classes are absolutely brilliant, the energy that Sensei Steve puts into his classes is amazing. You can tell he genuinely cares about his students improving and his classes are never boring as there is so much to learn.
I train in both Valor Ju Jitsu and Valor Precision Combat. Sensei Reece and Sensei Steve are excellent instructors. I’ve trained in Ju Jitsu for 30 years then couldn’t train for years and Sensei Reece has rekindled my appetite for the art with his enthusiasm and knowledge. Valor Precision Combat is new to me but I am enjoying it and learning different skills. Sensei Steve’s knowledge of the different arts is great and both classes are a great to train in.
