After struggling with shortness of breath, constant coughing, loss of voice and fatigue for almost a year, I made it my priority to visit the Alkalicious Juice Bar in an effort to speak to the owner for advice and guidance to improve my health. After an in-depth conversation about my eating habits, health (doctor’s test results) and daily routines, Lisa recommenced an immediate cleansing of my system followed with healthier eating, exercising, proper rest and applications of natural oils and herbs. Following her advice, I began to see a great improvement in my respiratory disorder within five days. It has now been three months. I feel so much better and breathe normal. In addition, I am able to wear a mask when needed with no problem. I am grateful and committed to continue on my road to healthier living and weight loss goal. Thank You Lisa!!!

I absolutely love the selection of smoothies, cleanse juices and vegan food. I usually get a chocolate protein smoothie. Tonight I decided to have the Vegan Grilled Cheese and Tomato Sandwich on Whole Grain with a cup of Tomato Bisque which the co-owner Justin MADE right then and there. Such flavor! Absolutely incredible. They offer superior customer service as well. Add to this, they happened to be a collection spot for items for military care packages. Proud to support this minority and veteran owned business in Chesapeake! All the best to Justin and Lisa!

So I came in the other day and I ordered an island blast and it was great, I loved it. the owner came out and talked to me, he said his name was Justin and he was soooooo sweet to me. He walked into the back and I heard him belittle a worker who just doing their job. He didn't treat her very nice and I felt so bad for her. I love their drinks but the way he treated his worker wasn't good and I won't be coming back for that reason.

I usually love the food and smoothies here, but I lost my appetite after my last visit. They added a fish pond, and there’s 2 fish in there constantly pecking at the smaller orange one. I brought this to the employees attention and they said they were fed and just do that. I worked in a aquarium for a little while, fish don’t just do that. The orange one is missing an eye and most likely weak, he’s also the smallest in the tank. At the aquarium, we would separate fish that did this so they didn’t die a slow death, of having small chunks taken out them. we especially kept the smaller fish separate. I thought the point of veganism is to avoid animal harm. I guess that doesn’t apply to fish here. I feel really bad for the little guy, he’ll probably be dead soon. I won’t be coming back.

I love this place! They are such an amazing group of people ❤️! They are vegan (dairy free and no animal byproducts) completely organic and non GMO and no sugars are automatically put in your drinks unless you ask!! Justin and Lisa are some awesome people (they're the owners) and they care so much about their customers happiness! Jordan a bit of a stickler he never laughs at my jokes but he's cool as heck and he taught me a lot! ???? Much love to all my family at Alkalicious! Keep doing what you're doing!

If you’re a vegan Alkalicious is definitely the place for you. Even if you’re not, this is still the place for you. Awesome smoothies, juices and more... And best of all... organic. If you’re new to healthy eating and are not sure what to get, the staff there is great and will help you with making a great selection. Fantastic quality and great customer service. Can’t recommend this place enough... just what we’ve been looking for. I can’t wait until they open a store near me... I’d be there everyday...

On my first visit to the Alkalicious Juice Bar, the owner took the time to do an experiment that validated all the many health benefits of alkaline water. I immediately ordered the one day renewal plan and because I live out of state I asked if it could be shipped. At that time, the store had only been open a few months and they had never shipped their products before. Well, you would have never known because the product was packed so maticulously on ice and in insulated bags. Each product was clearly labeled with their ingredients AND benefits along with concise Instructions. It truly was a reflection of their passion and belief in the product and the entire philosophy.

Just completely my second 24hr juice cleanse in 2 weeks. This time I was out of town, and Lisa was VERY accommodating and shipped it to me. Again, FANTASTIC Service!

About the cleanse: I feel Great! Not sluggish. My mind feels Sharper.... And of course, my ph levels are up.... What more can I ask for?

If you've never cleansed and are apprehensive, start with a 24hr detox. It's NEVER too late to change your life. It's easier to prevent illness than to treat!

Love this place! Wish they were in NC but it's a MUST during my few times a month trips to the area. The selection is fantastic, and I appreciate the opportunity to have fresh, clean, responsible juices and wellness shots. The team is super friendly and knowledgeable. My only suggestion would be to increase inventory of cups/lids/produce as typically every visit they are out of something. This most certainly speaks to their growing popularity!

Recently finished a 3 Day Renewal detox which was easy to follow and the juices were great. Lisa took the time to explain what all they had to offer and was willing to answer any questions I had. What I loved about the experience is I was left with the choice to decide what would be right for me! This is something that I find rare in small businesses and something that I preach daily with the teams of my stores. Education of what they have to offer, followed up by any questions with no pressure to purchase one thing over another. I live in Richmond but travel to Chesapeake weekly due to work and I'm sure there are options for me close to home as far as juice bars are concerned but Lisa and the staff will have my continued support because of their wonderful customer support and great products! A drive worth making even on a day I don't have to work. On to the Master Cleanse now! Thank you Lisa and team!

Great place! Super friendly staff that are very knowledgeable!! Love the service and my berry blast was surprisingly really really good! Who would have thought it would be any good without sugar? Maybe this place will turn me around!!
FYI: For those of you who don't know me.. I am not a healthy person. I love my sugar! Cupcakes and cookies for breakfast, 7-11 hot dogs for lunch and McDonald's for diner.
