We are absolutely thrilled with our Ravel 800 gas fire , the whole experience with your company has been fantastic, particularly all Adrian’s advice , he was so helpful , a great local buisness , friendly and very professional -Highly recommended Thank you very much
We had an inset fireplace and flue removed. I give 5-Stars to the engineer, labourer (Shaun & Chris), and plasterer (Danny) for the superb quality of their workmanship and positive attitudes. At one point, our dog escaped the garden (my fault) and both Shawn & Chris downed tools and searched and found our pooch! The only thing that let down the project was the office's communication. I was led to believe that the works would take two days to complete. However, on the 2nd day Shaun told me the plastering would be done separately, taking a third day. If I had known this, I could have planned better. Being self-employed, missing an extra day's work hits kinda hard. However, I would definately recommend this company.
Chimney repointing and replacement pots. Silverhill, St Leonards.
Provided a competitive estimate of work needed based on drone survey, very detailed and reassuring.
Sound advice, saving me money. Gave the work their full attention and arrived when expected. Worked hard all day and were all personable, good to have around. Alerted me to minor issues with gas supply and fixed them immediately. Really good quality work and quick replies to any questions.
We had a wood-burning stove and twin-wall chimney fitted in our living room. We couldn't be more happy with the service and the end result is a fantastic fire that keeps us toasty and warm.
Wanted local firm with regular service option. So much more. Large choice of working fires in showroom. We’re welcomed by enthusiastic sales Staff who explained different fires and options.
We booked a survey as we don’t have a chimney but wanted to replace old fire but not change the surround.
Two day of hard work which involved brickwork, removing and matching limestone surround.
I can’t say what a difference this Wildfire gas fire has made.
Recently had our clock blyfield 5 installed before Christmas. The whole process from initially dealing with Adrian with the quote and advice stage through to Shaun and the other lads installing it went completely smoothly.. would have no hesitation recommending you guys 👌🏻👍
We're beyond happy with the end result, and we appreciated all the thoroughness, thoughtfulness and advice along the way.
The Fire Shop performed a CCTV and drone survey, did a thorough sweep, lined the chimney, repointed the attic in lime and replaced the old wood burner with a gas stove and new hearth. The chimney breast in the front room was given a makeover by Shaun, Adam, Ben & Connor which exceeded our expectations.
Felicity guided us through the process and helped us pick our way through their showroom, letting us know what to expect throughout; Adrian provided the drone survey that pinpointed exactly where work was required.
A very friendly and professional team, can't recommend them enough.
I went to the Fire Shop, having previously visited another shop more local to us.
What a wonderful contrast!
We had lots, and I mean lots, of questions and we're given a wonderful warm welcome, all the time we needed, particularly when I struggle to make decisions on purchases!
We returned again to go over some more queries, again we were welcomed in the same manner.
The process and options are all explained and you are asked questions to help you with suitability.
We had a survey and the install was booked.
This was carried out efficiently, tidying up and all waste materials removed.
Instructions and guidance on lighting and maintenance too.
We were given heat/flame protection gloves and a carbon monoxide alarm was fitted.
Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. Recommend 100%
If you've already been to a different fire shop, pop along and just double check with the lovely people at the Fire Shop, we were told by another company that we could only have 1 type of burner.
When we visited the Fire Shop and had our survey, we did in fact have a wide choice to choose from!
What an amazing company to have in our home. From the first visit to their showroom to the wood burner and new mantle being installed it was a complete pleasure. Excellent work and attention to detail from a highly professional company.
Extensive repointing of our 2 x chimney stacks and garage wall with lime mortar undertaken with professionalism and dedication. Superb result which gives me confidence to recommend The Fire Shop for any similar work without hesitation.
Really happy with our newly installed logburner. From the start, getting a quote, onsite visit, to the installation, we received great communication, recommendations & advice. The finished product is very good quality, it is the star of the room & throws out a perfect amount of heat. I cannot recommend this company enough for their attention to detail & care in installation. Excellent service & customer care. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Fire Shop.
Pleased with our installation of our Clock Blithfield compact 5 wood burner.Excellent and professional friendly service. Helpful advice . Highly recommend.
Thank you Adam and team .
The Fire Shop was recommended to us by our chimney sweep who discovered problems with both our chimneys. One needed removing and capping, the other needed a complete rebuild and a new liner. I simply cannot praise this firm highly enough. For a start, they turned up when they said they would. The work carried out was excellent. Communication was excellent, (thank you Felicity!). We were fully aware of the ongoing work and the attention to detail was second to none. Not to mention the new fire brick, (thank you Adam). Simply fabulous, thank you, it’s a relief to have had the work done and feel safe again. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this firm.
Absolutely brilliant, clean working, knowledgeable craftsman who wouldn't be phased by anything.
Our new marble fireplace and gas fire were installed last week by The Fire Shop, and we could not be happier with our experience throughout. Credit to all the staff, who were always friendly and helpful, while remaining totally professional.
We cannot praise Adam highly enough. He undertook and executed this quite tricky installation, assisted by a couple of lovely, polite young men.
Adam is a perfectionist whose work ethic and precise attention to detail are outstanding. He worked long hours, overcoming challenges as they arose, and even reconfigured and re-laid our parquet flooring around the new fireplace.
Apart from the fact that the surrounding wall obviously needs redecorating, you would scarcely know that the installation had taken place! The spread of dust was also minimised, and our home was left spotless when they left. We would not hesitate to recommend The Fire Shop to anyone. Thank you so much!
We were so happy with Shaun and Luke. Excellent fitters. They addressed problems with our wall very professionally. They were quick and very clean and friendly.
All the staff at Fireshop were brilliant. From first contact, through the survey and help with choosing a product (for which the team were very patient as we chopped and changed our minds). As for the installation again all the installers we dealt with were professional, considerate, polite and hard working. They worked hard to ensure the installation we ended up with was exactly the one we wanted.
I can't recommend the Fireshop highly enough.
What fantastic service, from going in to the show room and explaining what we wanted, to the survey coming up with a solution to meet our needs. Adam and the team making it come to life, they were incredibly professional, extremely helpful to other trades we also had in the house! Nothing was too much trouble, the fitted a faux chimney breast to house our new balanced flue gas fire, our one stipulation was that it had to work when we have a power outage, and it will The end result is amazing it looks so cosy now. Thank you to the whole team for the amazing job. I would love to add a picture but at the moment it won't let me, I'll try again later and edit the post!
